It just depends what kind of mood I am in- I love Mack because he is such a flipping hottee that's hardcore and yummy. Then there's Bob who is sincere and focussed on the mission, not to mention the number one family man. Jonas is the ultimate. Good looks, great leader, and tough. His acting is phenominal! Then Gray is quiet but smart and we need him too. I've like Haysbert since he played the President of the United States in the early seasons of "24" but the whole cast of "The Unit" is a great, well-picked smooth-running ensemble. Sgt. Strickland and Paradise Lost (2007) TV episode .... Sgt. Strickland. I remember he was the MP in Paradise Lost that got into the Units face when the returned to the cave. But wasn't that Randy Cotoure in the episode where the were watching the man in custody?I am not sure I would trust him if he portrayed Sgt. Strikland again. But at least he has the correct rank for the job. Jonas is a great team leader I will give him that. Jonas, Bob and Charles are not as hot headed as Mack. However I think Mack is the best shooter in the Unit.

Having a unit team member die simply reflects real consequences of military action. Hector's character was gentle and geniunely nice and he will be missed on The Unit , just as real life heroes are missed in our real lives. They all have such unique abilities that solidify them as a team. I can't remember which season it was but remember when Mac was sent to "hunt" but was really looking for someone with the codename "Mongoose"? When he dislocated his shoulder and acted like such a cry-baby until he got the information he needed, then yanked his own shoulder back in place and took care of business I thought, and the only word I can come up with, was swoon. I fell in love with him that day. Tiffy doesn't deserve him. How she could even think about being unfaithful to a warrior like him is beyond me. Jonas has such a wonderful voice that alone is enough to make him the favorite. Or, the drop dead gorgeous Bob. Or, rugged good looking Grey.... Oh, the agony of a decision... I just can't do it.

He looks the part (always bruised and unshaven) Kills with impugnity, is a great leader and, true-to-form, speaks the least. As long as, one way or another, he does what he has to do and kills Ryan, he will remain the most authentic operator on the show.Bob runs a close second. It's always interesting to see his humanity pop out every once in a while, but also fascinating to watch his total lack of compromise in the field. You always get the impression that he will be the one to end up in a shrinks office some day when he retires.

Tom, Jonas,Mack, Hector, Charles and Bob. I wish they could have kept Hector and added the female operator. I guess every one over looks the one female sergeant in the TOC. She plays her role well. Ryan. When it comes to the answer the unit needs it is always Jonas with the Solution. Ok, For the ladies , Bob and Mack are good looking and solid as Stone with their orders(From Jonas) and can't leave out Grey the "Super Soldier" who does what is asked with no question and comes up with "Supersmart" intel. RIP Hector, I sure as hell didn't see that coming last season. Regardless, they all play a major part and when one falls they all suffer. All in all the major key that keeps it all together is their wives and families, which is the reason they do what they are asked to do without question.

I think My fav is Jonas because he is the leader of the group and always seems to be thinking, even when in the middle of stuff. Remember when Bob was spazzing out while on missions and Jonas was keeping an eye on him while still tending to the mission??? plus he is fine, but getting chunky this season. I been looking at his waist line. Anyway, then there is Mack. He is a crazy nut job that will kill when he has to. They know they can depend on him to watch the groups back. I don't know how they can get Tiffy to turn around, she is a nut job too. He is also a cutie.Then Grey. He looks and acts the part of hardened military. Quiet and reserved...a thinker and tinkerer. And lonely, unmarried with no real good woman around. I bet he won't let a good woman come in and try to love him. Anyways...He can also fit into any situation the unit goes on. He has an international look about him, which is good for the team. I would like to see him in a real relationaship or find out he has a kid somewhere that he didn't know about. What a shocker! Course, not sure how he would be found since they all lie so much about their names. Then I like Ryan. I just like that he is in charge and how he used to tell gov't people to essentially go f*ck off when they would come down tryna stick it to the unit or get info about them. He is tamer this season but I want that tough azz back. He also used to tell the ladies to get in line, although I am not sure real military commanders do that but it was interesting how he would go to Molly and have her do the do, so to speak. I want to see him get a good woman and have some kids or something. He is also a fine old man.Then Bob. I just don't really trust him. I think he would turn for his own good and screw the team if it benefited him. Maybe I'm wrong but something ain't right with his character. I do like his interaction with Kim and he seems to love his kids. I don't know what some ladies here are talking about when they say she is not like a military wife. WTH? Maybe Tiffy is more like a military wife??? Of course Hector is gone but he was growing on me too. He really wanted to get married or be in a relationship which I found interesting. Sometimes men pretend they just want sex and don't really care about the real relationship part. Too bad he's dead on the show now. Hmmm, he did marry a woman in some African nation though... He might have a little kid over there.I just can't stand that RedCap! I hate her! I am hoping she gets that court martial for lying last week. Then is kicked off the unit and the show. Somebody thought she was hot and added her to the show and did not write her part well and she is a terrible actress. I just do not like a woman mixing with the men on the team. It is awkward and they look uncomfortable around her. I wish they had made Kayla from TOC a member. I would have accepted her and she is also pretty with an international look that they could definately use on the team. Next, I want to see some other units like from previous seasons. Although they just briefly showed them I think it would be good to show more units around and getting busy or training or something. Just my 2cents.ShiningHorse
