Would you like to see any pairings, who & why? Or not at all!Personally I wouldn't want to see any pairings at all, I think it would spoil the teams dynamics -I can't see Hotch getting romantically involved with a team member.I don't mind so much if it's fan fiction but not cannon

Only Morgan and Garcia...it won't change the dynamics because they practically behave like a couple anyway.It's normal for ppl to have relationships so not having them have any would be strange...I'd like the others to find someone outside of the BAU though, like JJ has.I didn't like Lila at all (Reids romantic interest)...she was really vacant. I wish they would fix the bugs in this site!!!

Definitely Garcia & Morgan! I enjoy them when they talk to each other!As for the others, I don't see them with anyone! Maybe because I'm so used to seeing them single. Even JJ & Will's romance doesn't feel right! I think, because she got pregnant, they had to "give" her someone in order to write her pregnancy into the show!I don't see Reid with a girl just yet. That Lila girl just killed it for me (maybe because she was such a bad actress in that episode! I didn't like her at all!)Hotch needs to get over Hayley (and fast please!) ... and then I would see him and Emily getting hitched but not now!Thoughts anyone?

I'm with you on Lila, she had this vacant look most of the time, very pretty though and not overly skinny which was a plus. Did anyone else notice how nervous Reid was in that first scene they were alone together in the gallery??!! He couldn't look at her face! I know MGG was nervous about the kiss but he looked like he needed a sedative at times.I think Hotch and Emily might be too professional to pair up, I can't see them doing that although they are suited.I would love to see Morgan and Garcia together (probably the only two in the team), I don't think it would change the dynamic because they behave very much like a couple anyway.

I don't think the team members should get involved with each other...they are like family and need to save that relationship for advice from each other when they do have a love interest. I think Hotch should have a relationship with his new red headed doctor. The doc/patient relationship can develop into a friendship that could lead to a love affair. It is a sure thing. He can not afford to get involved with his team. Doesn't work in real life it 'ain't' going to be good on the set!

I agree. I wouldn't want Hotch to be involved with a team member, but that doctor would be perfect. She's not a part of the team, but she is a part of the FBI, so she understands what his life and job are like. But, at the same time, she can help him to find some balance between work and...? Who knows? But, I'd love to see it. I thought the doctor was very pretty, and I think I detected some nice chemistry there.

I agree with mistym66. I could definitely see a relationship moving forward between the red head doc and Hotch. We need to see a more emotional side of him. It's like you know it's in him, but we never get to see it. I think it would make him seem more human, instead of always calm, cool, collect and [u]unemotional. You can be in control, be the boss and still have a life...I'd like to see that other side. I think Doc would be perfect - they have similar personalities and she's cute too! They'd be a great match!

I think it would be tricky having regular cast members involved with each other - it always seems to mess with the chemistry and before you know it someone has to get killed off. But you guys make a good point that Hotch could use "a little lovin" to make him a bit less one dimensioanal; it would make him more interesting but he could still keep the attitude.

Yeah, as a viewer I sometimes wish there were a little more of a personal life development, in a positive way for Hotch. I think the show and the character has earned it with his workaholic dedication and the break-up of his marriage.I'd like to think that the writers have something up their sleeves with this new doctor.

An episode called Somone watching me (I think that's it, S1). She wasn't a gf she was just a a girl he made out with in the pool.Couldn't a doctor get into trouble having an affair with one of her patients? She could already be married (and probably is lol). I'd like to see Hotch in a relationship, just not yet.

Actually she made out with him. He was trying to keep a professional distance from her. Reid needs someone HE can pursue, not the other way around. (This is debated in another thread "Geeks get the girls")Definately Morgan and Garcia. (As I have stated in another thread "Garcia love triangle". )I would rather see Hotch back with Hayley.I think the relationship between JJ and Will is very cute.I can't really picture who Prentiss would be good with.And I could care less about Rossi. I'm a new fan to CM and don't know a lot of back-story yet, but I did see this past week's episode ad since hotch is going thru these hearing problems linked to emotional strain I'm sure he's got to have another visit with the Dr. from the beginning...That'll be a nice segue into some sort of relationship, romantic or not. Can't wait for wednesday!

I would really prefer not to see any pairings of the team members, especially Hotch. I guess if they could spin it right it wouldn't be too much of a problem but I don't think on this show it will work. I'm not opposed to seeing them with relationships outside of work though, that would be interesting like Reid, Prentiss, Morgan

No, I get that, I saw the season premiere, But I mean the explosion coupled with losing his coworker and being duped by the young terrorists at the scene, and feeling some guilt that he can't perform at 100% yet...I think probably there is an emotional element at play as well.

Very interesting. I see it all the time. Unemotional is one of the last words I'd use to describe Hotch, and throughout the series I've seen him go through a whole range of emotions. Yes, his display is subtle (because he's got a desperate need for control of himself - and even the act of controlling himself provides displays of emotion) but I've never had trouble seeing it. Quoting from two separate messages, so no one gets confused and thinks I'm thinking the first person I quoted from said this part:

Sorry, red headed doctor is way too late for that. Actually, she never would have been in time. Since he's never been one dimensional, it's impossible for her to make him less so. I don't ship them, but theoretically, if they wanted to, she could provide him with a personal life, or make him less tense (although why Hotch would be different just because he's in a relationship, I don't understand. He's not going to stop being Hotch), or keep him in line (fail to see the attraction of that) or even maybe make him happy. But, since he's always been three dimensional, red headed will have to find something that he actually lacks.

I agree with Bessie_Mae. Hotch has shown a lot of emotions. He is a very compassionate man, he shows various emotions when analyzing crime scenes, victims, criminals but doesn't act on those emotions. A true professional. He goes out of his way for the victims and takes their pain & loss personally. Just to name two: the scene in the intensive care unit where he visited the only surviving arson victim, his argument with Strauss when he put it all out for the team. I'm surprised some of you can't see that. Perhaps his professionalism, his posture, self control, quiet nature distracts from it a bit but keep in mind he's the leader of the team, the # 1 profiler of the FBI.Lots of the pairings above sound like fun. I'd be ok with it as long as it doesn't take away from the show. There are enough soap operas on TV already. I don't get the hype about the doc, really don't but then we all have our tastes. I just don't think she did her job well otherwise I don't have anything against her. Perhaps my standards are too high but then again I compare her role to a real life FBI doc and she's fallen short. My sister who's a trauma surgeon was also pretty disappointed of her. She said she'd never given Hotch the ok.

Again, television is not about replicating the real world. Television is a medium whereby dramatic license is taken in order to elicit specific emotional responses from viewers. Doctors, lawyers, cops and other professionals on TV seldom do their job in the way a real life professional does. If they did, it would not be particularly interesting, and there would be no reason to tune in. But, because TV offers a heightened reality, structured to seem familiar but at the same time to catch us off guard, we keep watching, because we love the surprise. To expect a TV doctor to do what your physician does, is just not understanding that you are watching TELEVISION. The doctor existed so that the viewers could get a diagnosis for Hotch. She was not written in to control him, or stop him from doing his job. And if they end up liking each other, so be it.

Personally I would like to see Garcia and Morgan pair up. They look like a cute couple and act flirty toward each other anyway so I would be happy. Also, I could see Reid and Emily as a couple. After episode "Minimal Loss" it seems as if they are closer which creates new feelings and you never know....it could happen.

LOL! That was my first thought too. On several LJs there was a lot of "OH MY GOD! Are they having her come out?!?!" There was even a little of that on the website that first mentioned her having a secret, I just can't remember which site. I doubt it will happen but it would not be a shock.And yes, they have. That was the more frightening pairing I mentioned. Someone paired Rossi/Strauss. Oh, I don't feel well at all now. I did recently see two that were high quality squick: JJ/Gideon and JJ/Rossi. Gah! It just isn't right.

It wouldn't surprise me either about Emily but they won't go there imo, to me its no big deal but to alot of very vocal ppl it is. There has been nothing about Emilys romanic past other than a date that went wrong. The nerd thing could have just been an excuse.Reid has that is he or isn't he gay thing about him too but in all honesty I've noticed a lot of men who are very thin, tall and gangly seem a bit feminine, they move differently than bigger men. MGG is pretty too (a bit geeky) so that just adds to him being girly. There is absolutely no way they will go gay with a male character if they are going to do it I think it will be Emily.I like the Morgan/Garcia ship too. He seems to like dark skinned women with perfect curvy figures though.

Oh geez you guys are sick I will never be able to look at these characters the same! Strauss?!!!!! Then again maybe if she gets laid she won't be such a witch! LOL!Kinda had that thought run through my mind...I don't really think she's gay though...

LOL, that was my first thought about Emily's "secret" too. I mean she has the whole swagger/strut/butch yet femme sexiness about her.Ideally, I would LOOOVVVEEE for Emily and JJ to get together, but there's already one lesbian relationship on TV so THAT won't happen. Emily could still be totally gay though. *hint, hint, poke, poke to the CBS people* Paget could definitely pull it off too, and she has no problem with kissing a woman.In spite of loving the possibility and dreaming of a Jemily thing, I'm a little too mad at JJ right now anyway. Will is way too clingy and domineering and just kind of "ewww" to me. If she went for a guy, he was definitely not the kind I imagined.Now, not that I hetero ship character (like never, ever!), but I think Morgan and Garcia would absolutely adorable together!!! Welcome Callies xxI'm tend not to ship anything that isn't in the show but some potential pairings do interest me more than others. I don't like any m2m ships at all...maybe that's because they totally burst my little dream bubble lol.JJ is a bit tomboyish so I'm not surprised at some girls wanting to ship her with Emily.

GarciaMorgan I agree with you in something. Garcia and Morgan. About Emily with Hotch we would have to rethink it. Hotch is too much of a professional and Emily too. But I think that they would make a pretty couple.

Thanks for the welcome, Maddy! Funny, I don't like the f/m ships for the same reason! I figure it's all good, variety is the spice of life, and whatever floats your boat. Pick your cliche`, it works for me. You think JJ is tomboyish? Really? Okay, she's definitely not a frilly as Garcia, but she's not as butch as Emily either.

It is a bit of an adjustment. I got used to the acceptance of my dislike of Reid, but here I'm constantly in trouble for it. Crawfish is a bit of a controlling jerk, isn't he? Why does she put up with him? I just don't get it. He has no respect for her privacy or her professionalism. Sure, just invite yourself on her business trip and blurt out her pregnancy secret. I'm sure she didn't mind. Sure, linger in Miami to pressure her about your relationship and invite yourself into the investigation when you should be taking your friend's body home so his loved ones can start planning the funeral. I'm sure they didn't mind. Though, the writers did give me a little hope when he said he'd asked her to marry him, not that they were engaged. I took that to mean she hadn't said yes. Sorry. This wasn't supposed to turn into a diatribe against the hetero signpost.

LOLCallies - I think JJ looks like she was they type of little girl who used to climb trees and play with the boys more than the girls when she was little. Definitely the sporty tomboy type. Her voice is deep for a woman too.I agree with you on the shipping thing, it's personal prefererence. I mostly try to ignore it when ppl ship a certain way, if I don't like it I just try and stay away from it. I'm attracted to all the guys so slashing them together as gay is not for me. I also prefer to stick to the ships that are in the show (which at the moment is none but if there were one I would accept it, regardless of who it was because for me it would then be real).Jem - I didn't mean to jump at you on the Reid thing. Hmmmm, okay, I can see what you mean about JJ. Good point.You're definitely right about the personal preference thing. I can certainly see and understand why you wouldn't ship the guys.Fortunately, for me, I write fanfic so I create my own reality regarding the ships. Besides, if me or Jem waited around for our ships to show up so we could accept them as canon, we'd be waiting a long time. I don't feel a need to bow down to the Gods of Canon, that's why I live in the World of Fanon (according to Callie! ).

The trouble comment wasn't actually aimed at you. I fully realize that sometimes I sound a little bit harsh. But there are people who are less...civilized in their defense. Though I've not really seen them about since the format switch. I have been accused, several times of being a Reid hater, which I'm not. Am I frustrated by the way they write him? Yes, I happen to think he's a lot stronger than he's written. Do I want to see him have less screentime? Yes and no. I have no problem with him having screentime, I just want equality of storyline. We've delved so much into his past while there are characters we know almost nothing about. Yes, I mean Emily. But I also mean JJ, Garcia and Rossi. I get such a headache from trying to figure out Hotch's backstory that I've just stopped trying. While we do know a few things about Morgan, most of it comes from one episode so I'd like to see more about him too. You're right. I would defend Emily. After Minimal Loss the people on the comment board at CMFanatic seemed to overflow with sympathy for Reid while not even mentioning what had happened to Emily, beyond how it effected Reid. Those people did get my hackles up and I did go at them. But my trouble comment was aimed at the people who would take that as my being anti-Reid and attack me for it. I've run into people that take anything that isn't glowing praise as some sort of insult. Those are the people that popped into mind. Okay, now that I've typed a second lengthy response, let's see if it'll post this one without some weird error.

Callies...I don't like fanfic but what you said about waiting for your ship to become canon etc made sense to me. I guess if people want to see a different thing the only way to see it or experience it is through stories told by themselves or other people. I don't like it just because I prefer to stick to one formula, too many makes it seem less real to me, I'm in the minority though.Jem - it's ok, I don't think you are a Reid hater, not everyone has to like the same character. I just defend him because I'm one of a handful of posters who say more than 'oh he's so hot'. I like his whole character but yes I agree with you...writers are making some mistakes with him and I hope they stop. Unfortunately fans who are all sympathy for Reid and not Emily are not gonna endear you to his character.This forum is full of bugs isn't it

Maddy, I probably wouldn't write fanfic at all if there were more f/f ships on TV. For instance, I just started watching Grey's because of the Callie/Erica relationship, but I have no interest in writing fic on that. The same thing goes for The L Word. I've never written fic for that show either. I think it's because I'm already seeing the ships I want so I don't have to write them. I got into fanfiction and all that through Xena a few years back. Ultimately, the conclusion was that Xena and Gabrielle were a couple, but the interaction was vague enough that it left room for filling in the blanks. That's how I got into it...to fill in the blanks. LOL...now I just can't seem to stop myself!!!

They are very reluctant to show any same sex relationships aren't they...it's easier for some reason to show lesbian relationships but even then they are few and far between. CM is very white hetero with it's main cast, even Morgan has white heritage.Emily imo is the only one they could turn gay without too much of a fuss, some ppl are already expecting it. I don't think they'll do it though...I have a feeling a boyfriend will turn up soon. As much as I would like to see it they are not gonna put her with Reid. I know some ppl don't want to hear it but I think she would be good for him and she seems to want someone to mother. The dominant/submissive thing works for them too haha.

CM is very white hetero with it's main cast, even Morgan has white heritage.Emily imo is the only one they could turn gay without too much of a fuss, some ppl are already expecting it. I don't think they'll do it though...I have a feeling a boyfriend will turn up soon. As much as I would like to see it they are not gonna put her with Reid. I know some ppl don't want to hear it but I think she would be good for him and she seems to want someone to mother. The dominant/submissive thing works for them too haha.

I think Morgan and Garcia would be a great couple. That also would not complicate the team dynamics too much. Hotch would definitely need to go outside the team. As would everyone else. It works with Morgan and Garcia, because she is not a field agent.

I wonder what the demographics of the FBI are? I need to do some research on that, try to get some percentages based on race, gender, etc. Law enforcement is still dominated by white males when it comes to who has the most jobs, but it is starting to get a little more diversified. The stats would let us know whether CM is being to reluctant about diversity or whether they are just being realistic. I think it probably just had to do with how they casted the show. You are right about Dexter, though, they are in Miami! Lot more diversity there than there would be in Quantico. I don't really know what to think about it (probably because I haven't thought about it that much). Hmmm...

But dude! In parts of Miami, the street signs aren't even in English. So there should be a lot more diversity in any show set there. When I quit watching CSI: Miami they had what? One hispanic guy and was Boa Vista supposed to be hispanic too? I was never sure. Anyway, one hispanic guy and one black woman. Where was the diversity? In their one hispanic cop, Yelena? Even most of their backdrop, beat cops were white. The gay contingent was nowhere to be found, at all. Hello!?!? That close to South Beach and you don't even have one bisexual in the lab? *sigh* I'm stopping my rant now because I'm depressed.

Welcome! I read somewhere that Reid will be getting a love interest this season, so fret not. And please, for my sanity and my ability to close my eyes without screaming, don't ever suggest an Emily/Reid pairing again. It's a tad disturbing. Anyway, they don't really seem too keen on pairing any of their main characters together. They dealt very swiftly with the JJ/Reid suggestions, in season one. The Garcia/Morgan has also been quashed, with the addition of Kevin.

It's not just me who's noticed thankfully!!! I honestly do not mind this pair up if they do it (sorry jem lol..promise I won't get into the submissive thing again) I can see a connection for some reason. I don't know if it's just a close friendship (she mothers him a bit) but Emily seems closer to Reid than she is to any of the others on her team. I could not honestly see her touching any of the others faces and poking fun at them like she does with him. That could have been taken as flirting. They said Reid gets a love interest though not Emily and Reid so that will probably just fizzle out too.JJ and Rossi are they only two on the team who don't seem to feel the need to mother Ried which is good.

Delko is hispanic and so is the Boa Vista chick. The one black ME left so they replaced with...surprise another black ME (only to avoid diversity debates I'm sure) and as of yet there are not gay or bisexual characters. That really gets me about that show its in Miami for crying out loud there should definitely be more hispanics, some more blacks, and I know they have gay people in Miami! I think they focus more on gender than race trying to make it even amounts of men and women. Trust me I understand your rant...I do the same thing with many shows...I figure if you want diversity when it comes to race, gender, and sexual orientation than you have to go watch UB or GA or something.

Somehow the idea of Emily and Reid together gives me the creeps even when they insinuate it...now JJ and Reid wasn't that bad but it made me feel bad for him because he clearly had a crush on her and she wasn't remotely interested...I thought that was too...high school like.

So that brings up two things:1) If the gays are protesting the Mormons, then they probably don't want a Mormon portraying a Lesbian, and 2) How does A.J. feel about gays? I don't know a lot about the Mormon church, so I don't know if homosexuality would go against their beliefs (I'm assuming it would, since Mormon is considered a form of Christianity).No, CBS won't touch it, but when you think about it that way it might not be so much because of homophobia (there could be some other factors). Just a thought.

Actually, a lot of Mormons have excommunicated themselves from the Mormon church because of the passing of Proposition 8 through false advertising. (They were saying that allowing gay marriage to be legal would mean that sex-ed would have to be taught in kindergarten - because that makes sense - along with a whole lot of other strange happenings). So, it would be a split issue. Some Mormons would be horrified by that and others would be just fine with it. As for the GLBT community, they wouldn't care either way.However, I'm not a Emily/JJ supporter, so I just think that would be weird. Especially since JJ is getting married and having a child! One marriage has already fallen apart; we seriously do not need a repeat of the exact same storyline. The only reason the writers would do that is if they wanted there to be a parallel between Hotch and JJ... and personally, I can't see it. They aren't enough alike. And plus, one of the main reasons that they would want to create a parallel between the two is if they wanted to get them together. And, again, I don't see it. And I wouldn't want to see it. Hotch/JJ is definitely not my cup of tea.The only couple that I have ever supported on the show is JJ and her handsome hubby, and I'm a huge fan of Morgan/Garcia. It's a crime, I suppose, but I really don't think anything would change between them if they got together. They don't work side by side, so the writers wouldn't have to worry about writing in subtle signs of affection while on the job or whatever. They mostly communicate over the phone anyway. And I think that's what is such the huge appeal about it - even if they did get together, I don't think it would change the dynamics of the team at all.

There are people in just about every religion that don't have a problem with issues like Gays getting married, or any other issue that presumably is against the religion. My point being just because AJ is Mormon doesn't mean she'd have a problem with it. Now I still will not ever see any form of romantic connection between JJ and Prentiss. I just don't see JJ as being gay or bi...Prentiss on the other hand....

Without my influence, as I don't really talk about my character pairing preferences outside of this board. We all perceive things differently. We filter things through our own experiences, so if you're straight you're more likely to read into the men/women interactions and if you aren't you're more likely to read into the same sex interactions. However, like Jem has said, after all that's happened at ABC, the stupidity of Prop 8, and so much more, I'd happily go with old-fashioned subtext. My heart resides in the old days with the Xena/Gabrielle subtext storyline and to me, it was perfection. Nothing else can really touch it. I could live on weeks of seeing JJ and Emily glance at each other meaningfully.It's okay if people don't see it. The obvious pairing would be Garcia and Morgan. But I think their flirtatious banter is such a big part of the show that the writers won't ever actually bring them together. However, I think Prentiss and Reed would be a very interesting pair. I'd love to see that happen on the show... I think it would be a good match. :o) And it would be fun to have a little romance in a show with such gruesome story lines (I love them, don't get me wrong... but they are gruesome! hehe).

See, I don't see it with Emily, though. Paget, maybe, but the sexuality of the actress and the character could be different (and there is not proof on Paget, either). Emily did have that scene with Cooper, and then mentioned that she thought that JJ had a good catch in the last episode (and I think she also did that in another episode, before JJ told anyone, so it seems that she finds Will attractive). I guess we can't rule out bi, but I don't see her as being flat-out gay because it appears that she is attracted to some guys, as well. It really doesn't matter though, because she is a very good character no matter what her sexual orientation is.

It is possible to recognize that someone is good looking without being attracted to them. I think what she said to JJ during In Heat was just about being supportive and letting JJ know she didn't have to hide the relationship. And what Emily said in Memoriam, was the last eligible donor. That was in no way an indication of finding him attractive.

There's just something about her, and they have a new female character on there, at least temporarily to fill JJ's shoes.

*sigh* Oh we did so enjoy the meaningful glances. I agree, subtext is perfect. Yeah, that storyline died a rather quick death. Pathetic. I don't know why they bother to write it if they're just going to back away from it a few episodes later. I really don't want to see any of the relationships between the members of the team turn romantic, on screen. That's why I love fanfic. I can have my preferred relationship without trying to force it down everyone else's throats.

No, I don't buy that Emily has a thing for Crawfish. That's just EWW! I've told other women (and men!) before that they got a good catch. It didn't mean I had a thing for their other half. So many people want to see an Emily/Reid thing happen. I think, esp. using a word like "donor" in the last episode, that Emily is checking out viable candidates. She's going to first consider who she knows and if any of them have potential. If I was Emily, I'd see Hotch, Morgan, or Reid as having good DNA. When you're considering having a baby, seriously, that's all that matters. My partner and I did that and looks didn't matter so much as the fact that the guy 1) didn't want to be attached to the baby, 2) was tall ('cause we're short), and 3) was smarter than we are. In fact, he's a freakin' genius so that was a big plus.If this is what Em's doing, I can see how her interactions with them can be misconstrued. However, in spite of how handsome they are (yes, I admit that!), Hotch and Morgan will both want to be attached to the child and in the child's life. Reid, however, is incredibly smart and of the three of them, he'd be the one most likely to not be drawn to having a full-on connection with the child. Plus, Hotch wouldn't be the best choice in that he's her boss.Oh well, just some of my thoughts on that matter.

ROFL...yes, I admit to being a total Xena geek. God, what I wouldn't love to go back to those days where the relationships are vague and playful. They had such a great way of making the characters interact so that you never knew what was happening. I use to be soooo obsessed with Xena and Hercules! You know it wasn't until after it was over that I even thought about the fact that they were actually a couple! Through the occasional kiss or whatever I never thought too much about it. I liked that it is still a topic up for debate and it opened the doors for a different outlook on things. I still like to think that those two were bi....your right Morgan and Garcia do have that type of relationship that sometimes seems to walk the line there. I think its great and its different not the typical soap opera crap they pull on most shows.

ROFL, just kidding!In Heat was a good episode, though I was actually on Will's side in the episode, not JJ's. There was no reason that she couldn't tell the team, who she considers her family, and I think he knew that she wanted to tell them and just didn't know how. I didn't really like the way she treated him in that episode, heck, she almost ended a relationship with a guy that obviously cared about her. Luckily, she didn't blow it, and now they have a child and are getting married.

I think she was just nerves. It feels like she was hurt before and did not want it to happen again. She talked about that too, with on of the final comments she said to him in the episode. Plus she is very focused and does not want the team to think that her emotions would get in the way.

Reid's more than ready for a relationship, probably is desperate for one...he's the type. He's not Morgan he would never cope with countless girlfriends. People also seem to forget he's in his late 20's!!! He needs to grow up a bit and ppl need to stop thinking of him as a baby.Emily is ideal for him, she's his freind as well as potential lover and she's not overly serious at all!! She's got a real sense of fun...plus she's a strong woman who's worldly, and Reid needs that rather than looking at an age group.The team dynamics could do with a bit of a shake up now and again, it keeps things on it's toes.Falcon - Emily is also a profiler...she would be able to hide anything she didn't want shown.

hello. i would just like to say quickly that i have a tendency to say things wrong so if i ever offend anyone i am sorry now.i'm sure u guys can surmise who my fave character is by my name, so in response to the amount of time he has i will simply say i have a feeling that if that much time were given to Morgan a lot of u out there would be thrilled. nothing wrong with it just no matter who they give a bunch of time to someone will be happy and someone will be pissed. my opinion.I would have to say Reid isn't really compatible with anyone on the team. it seems they may try an Emily angle but i don't see how they could do it convincingly. I am sry, he does need to learn that was wrong of him but I think he is slowly learning. He has put his life on the line a lot for the team. Hopefully Morgan will learn how to help JJ out this season instead of pushing her aside.I would not want to see as much time as they give to Reid for for any of them. No internal hook ups.

Most ppl actually meet their partners at work, it wouldn't be any big deal for any of them to have an affair. They did it on CSI with Grissom and Sarah and the show is still going strong. Sometimes you have to add a bit of romance or have an affair start to attract a different type of viewer. As long as they stay mainly profiler focused the show won't change much.I actually think it's a bit strange that so many, single, attractive people spend most of their time together and not one pair of them ends up having an affair. Yes they are dedicated to their work but they still have eyes and hormones. It's unrealistic. I know they are all proffessional...but no one?? I think some ppl who don't want any of them together don't like it because it will probably not be their particular 'ship' and others don't want it because it's not what they fantasise about (ie, putting themselves or their own fictional character into the show in their own heads or fanfic). I don't care what anyone says....all of us are attracted to one or more character on this show.

I have stopped watching other shows because they start all the soap stuff up. If you change the story line you might gain some new viewers but you will lose a lot more. Soap type fans are not fans that stick around we are true fans.

There's also another group in the some people you forgot. Those who don't feel a romance between the cast members would add anything to the show and who love the friendships that the characters have and think they work so wonderfully that there's no need to change them into anything else. And, some of us who feel like this may also be attracted to a character, but that attraction has nothing to do with not wanting ships on the show. (I've been attracted to characters on other shows, and been huge fans of those same characters being in relationships with other characters on those shows)And, someone always brings up that it happens at jobs. Now, my work experience isn't that extensive, but I would assume there are some jobs out there where coworkers or team members don't end up having affairs or relationships. I'm sure there was no romances going on at my last job (unless they hid it really well). So, I'd say it's realistic for them not to get into relationships - it's just a different aspect of realism. One that's pretty neglected on tv, since almost every other show does have the workplace romances, so why not mix it up a little and have just one show without it?

It's a discussion forum and to my knowledge I've not been aggressive although that paragraph Bessie Mae quoted was a bit out of line as I don't know any of you....sorry for that. There is no reason to sacrifice gritty plotlines by running a backstory where two ppl are attracted and maybe start an affair. It doesn't have to be soapy or a focal point at all. It can be done in hints and the occasional word or look or end/beginning dialogue, that these two are together. Morgan and Garcia would be a good couple if they are going to do it.

I have to say that I agree with likehotch. I don't want to see any romancing, with the exception of Garcia and Derrick and it staying that way. It's great they way it is and I think romance would screw it up. Besides, we have enough of that in TV anyways. When there is romancing in TV it's bound to be inapropriate, and I'm not much of a fan of Chickflicks because of all the mushy stuff and sexual material. That being said I hope you understand or atleast see my point. I don't mean to be critical of anybody. Just because I don't agree with some of you doesn't mean I think your all idiots. That's enough romance for a crime show. Adding romance between the main characters will change the dynamic of the team. The couple would inevitably bring their personel issues into the office, which would cause tension for the team. They'd all have to try to stay neutral, and be very careful about what they said. Besides, it's horribly overdone. The romance fans can find it on any of the CSIs, Numb3rs, Grey's Anatomy and a dozen other shows.

My view is, it's not the only natural thing. Where you can't understand people not wanting romance, I can't get wanting romance just for the sake of romance. I can understand someone wanting a romance between two particular characters (although I would personally hate the idea of any pairing anyone could come up with between the main cast -not to mention be out of character for them, imo). I would figure people might see some kind of chemistry between the actors, or they think the characters would make a good couple. But, romance just to have romance? It's not something I understand. I would say more importantly than having romance or not having romance is to be true to the characters. And, I mean the specific characters. Not just a general idea of what people would do, but what Hotch or JJ or Morgan, etc, etc would believably do. I just can't see these characters wanting relationships with each other. I don't see any of them having romantic feelings (yes, that includes Morgan and Garcia, especially since she has Kevin) for each other. I don't see any of them seeing each other as anything other than friends. So, to me, it actually would be unnatural for this show, not because romance itself is unnatural, but because it doesn't fit (to me) these specific characters and their personalities and the relationships (friendships) they have with each other. As far as attracting a wider audience, I disagree that the show has to add romance. Because the show has added a wider audience -and it's done it without pairing up the main cast. Could the show gain some viewers by pairing up cast members? Sure. But, again, it's only one way to gain viewers, and the show has already proven, maybe beyond anyone's expectations (another crime show on CBS that got slammed forwards and backwards by the critics), that it could gain a wider audience without it. To me, the only thing a show needs to gain an audience is some luck and being a good show - and good can take many forms. Romance is only one of them.

I love my ship and I love my CM but never the two shall meet. I don't really like seeing romance on CM because it deals with such a dark subject. For me, this show is sometimes severely disturbing, i can't watch re-runs, unless its a dvd and i'm fast-forwarding gore. Plus HOW would they do romance? Will their eyes meet across a mutalated corpse? Through blood soaked gloves, will their hands touch? With guns drawn, as they clear a house, searching for victims, will they suddenly crash into each other and start making-out? While they stare up at board full of victim's faces, will their legs touch under the table, the sexual heat rises, they sweep the table clear and climb on top? As funny as those senarios are (to me), it illustrates my point, of there isn't a lot of wiggle room for romance. Don't get me wrong, I love subtext and undercurrents, but i think these characters are all workaholics. When they do go on a case, they are in crisis mode, because their job is to catch a killer. It's to keep the majority of people from being killed. That's a huge undertaking. It's also hugely emotionally stressful and "gross" for lack of a better word. They probably had to learn to turn-off their emotions, to varies degrees, to survive all the ugliness they see and know. Look at Elle, she got emotionally involved with her situation, and she hurt their case and the bad guy got away with it--until she shot him--another emotionally charged decision. (something about two wrongs making a right seems to fit in here...) Anyways, it's like training dogs. (I love dogs) You can either train your dog to be a huggable lovable pet that wags his tail and gives kisses to everybody he meets or you can train your dog to protect your home, bark and bear his teeth at everyone who comes to your door. Think of police dogs--you're not supposed to pet those guys for a reason--they'll bite you. I think that's true with cops too-- they are the ppl that we train to protect us, not to hold our hands. I don't know if it's a tv thing, but they always show cops getting divorced or having marital issues, and i think it's because they just can't love anymore... not romantically... So, yah. that was some strange ramblings and much sarcasm... but it was meant as fun, funny, lighthearted sarcasm. see i'm smiling as i say it. LOL

JEm - thanks for the sarcasm, not really alot to say to that.Everyone else lol - My own point of view is that it would add not detract from the programme, I don't mind it in small doses as long as it doesn't become a huge deal or a constant focal point. The profiling should dominate.As far as the dynamic goes, if you stick rigidly to the same formula all the time it's gonna go stale, sometimes things have to shift just a bit, occasionally, to keep it fresh. The dynamic is working for the team now but will it keep working if the characters don't evolve past us watching them catch serial killers, display freindship and occasionally flirt? After we've seen their history....what then? Sex will have to come into it eventually as one part of character development and the only other option is to watch them hook up with an occasional guest star or a reaccuring character that no one cares about? How many ppl actually loved Hayley? Or Lila? Or Will? Sex, romance, attraction, love (and I say this wearily after JEms post) sells more than anything else. Violence probably comes a close second. Adding a sexual relationship between two characters we know and care about in amongst all the gore, blood and guts is not a bad formula, in fact it's pretty popular.

To paraphrase one of my favorite authors: If the usa could solve all it's problems by sleeping with its enemies, it wouldn't, because we are a sexually repressed and violent ppl. In response to your earlier post Humroot, most police officers and civil protection personnel lead relatively normal lives. In the case of CM though, these guys are fully"in the zone" every time they go to a case. In real life, investigations sometimes run more to the lines of NCIS, with jokes and jabs at one another. These jokes and jabs are required to deal with some of the things they come across. Well, at least when no one else is around. It is only the exceptions that make the news.And the dogs are like the people, the only time you get to see them is when they are "on the job". Most of the time dogs are like Jason Bourne (sorry, I'm running out of references, lol) they are friendly and nice, but when they are on the job... look out.As for couples, only Morgan and Garcia, they've already professed their love for one another (when she was attacked) why not just seal the deal. I think the developers toyed with the idea of JJ and .....drawing a blank...but you know who I mean (I'll remember by th etime I finish this. They alluded to the possibility several times over the course of the show, but I don't think it would work out very well. AH HA!!! REID!!!

HI Tempest, Welcome to the boards!! You make good points. I can't speak to what police officers or civil protecton personnnel do or don't do, i only know what i've seen on tv, which i believe i said. I can say, that from my job in the medical field, working with acutely ill patients, that it's hard for me to make emotional connections because i've had to learn to turn off the emotions and concentrate on the job of saving a life. That said, other people don't seem to have as severe a problem as i do, so... guess it just depends on the person or writers. LOL Yet, i'll stand by observations, i don't think that the human subconscious can take in that much horror and walk away unscathed, somethings got a give... sometimes it just a matter of time.

Right. I'm not saying my point of view is the only right one (except it totally is, because I'm awesome! Joke! Joke!) I'm just giving a different view. I can already tell this will be long if I address everything, so I'll only take one part. Which might still be long, but not as much. That it won't take away from the show. I think it would. Romances are best done early on. Establish that romance is a potential part of the show. When you stick them in later in a show that's gone wonderfully for years without it, it changes things. And, change is not good or bad in itself. So, changing for the sake of changing doesn't guarantee improvement. In depends on the change itself. In this case, the change of a romance, I think would be a bad thing. There'd be too much temptation to always pair up the couple on the cases, which eliminates or cuts down on a bunch of interactions. And, since friendship is the second class citizen to romance (which I don't get. I find friendship to be infinitely interesting) there'd be the temptation to show how close a couple is by implying that their closeness is greater and more important than that between friends. And, it's happened on too many shows for me to be confident that it couldn't happen here. When a romance happens, they usually stop writing the friendships - unless both happened close to the same time, and sometimes not even then. Also, as I said, for me anyway, it would be out of character. That's why romances work early on, before you've established their characters. I can't see Prentiss seeing Reid as anything but a little brother type. So, a romance between them would be completely out of character and inorganic and bad because of it. Prentiss and Morgan are probably more likely, but if they were going to have feelings for each other, wouldn't it have happened by now? So, it would be sticking something in that obviously didn't come about naturally based on the characters or the relationship they have. Prentiss and Hotch have way way way too much integrity to be involved with each other (not to mention that I don't see any attraction between them, but that doesn't matter). A boss and a subordinate? No, love doesn't trump all in that case. And, unless they decide to throw characterization out the window, I can't see either one of them ignoring the problems of that kind of relationship. This is of course, only my opinion, but right there three potential relationships that don't fit who these people or their relationships. It would be stuck in as awkwardly as a canned laugh track. This goes for any pairing, but for some reason Prentiss got stuck in my head. I know some will disagree and some might even say they see a relationship naturally happening between her and someone else on the team (or two completely different characters). But, since I don't, I don't see how shoving a romance in makes the show any better.

Bessie Mae...I completely understand where you are coming from. My view is just the total opposite lol.I don't see it as being shoved into the show, there are already some freindships which could turn into something more as a natural course. As long as the profiling stays as it is I can't see much changing other than the feel of the back stories.They can still do their job, who they are sleeping with in their private lives is their own business.

Hey everyone! No way I can catch up here, so I'll just answer Maddy. I'll let you down a little lighter than JEm did, Maddy, but I can't agree with you. Too much romance between the characters makes it less of a crime show and more of a soap opera, at least in my opinion. Part of what I like about CM is how unique it is, and if they start focusing on in-office relationships like so many other crime shows do, then it loses a little bit of that freshness.

Oh, I hope not. That's another problem I have. The assumption that every show must have a romance and every show is going to have a romance. It doesn't give anyone any leeway to try something new, to not follow the same old formula -and we talk about formulas getting stale. Putting one element into every single show is formula. Romance included. If you know every series you watch, at least two characters in the opening credits will pair up, isn't that the mega load of predictability? It's not just one show that does the same thing, it's a whole slew of them. There's always going to be romance and action and comedy and all those things in tv in general. I like to think that individual shows can change it up a bit. Just edited out part that's kind of repetitive.

i only know what i've seen on tv, which i believe i said. I can say, that from my job in the medical field, working with acutely ill patients, that it's hard for me to make emotional connections because i've had to learn to turn off the emotions and concentrate on the job of saving a life. That said, other people don't seem to have as severe a problem as i do, so... guess it just depends on the person or writers.

Of course when you think about it, lots of people are already seeing the looks and gestures between characters. Every conceivable pairing has someone who can (and probably has) argue that the writers are clearly going to put them together, because the signs are all there, the writers must have put them there to let people know that the romance is coming up at some point.

Hello everyone. I've been reading the boards this season, but this the first time I've replied. I have a few thoughts and opinions I'd like to get feedback on. On pairings: Morgan and Garcia seem to be the prevailing choice and I'm of two minds about this. I think this would be the only in-team romance that might work. However, I can't help but wonder if some small part of that is due to the fact that Garcia almost never leaves the computer room. Morgan talks to Garcia on the phone more than anyone else so adding in just a touch of romantic dialogue would take very little effort without affecting the cases. My take--Garcia is in love with him, and I'd like to believe that somewhere in the back of his mind he knows she's the one, but he isn't ready to settle down.On Reid:Reid fits the profile of a typical genius. Brilliant and badly socialized. This comes from being so much younger than his classmates. He never fit in and any acceptance he may have gotten would have been minimal creating a social barrier between him and his peers. He studies and analyzes the world around him rather than participates in it on a personal level. Until he can step up and begin interacting with his peers in his personal life his social inexperience is going to continue to make him appear younger than his actual age. Dating, even bad dates, would go a long way towards allowing him to grow and develope emotionally. (Note: I do not mean for him to date in-team, strictly outsiders). I sincerely hope the show's writers will at least consider unstunting his growth because right now they're making him look like an innocent idiot. It was charming when the show started but I think its gone on long enough.On Hotch:I've enjoyed watching Mr. Gibson in other parts and I find him a very gifted actor with a broad range. So you must forgive me for being slightly appalled that the show's writers have continually portrayed his character as some kind of A.I.. When he found out J.J. was pregnant and he actually smiled with warmth I think my heart stopped--that action being so rare I almost expected him to self-destruct. Forgive me if I sound harsh. I willingly admit that this season, whether it's the product of the divorce and/or the car bomb there has been a slight though obvious lightening of his character. I think too much would obviously be inappropiate, but a little on occasion causes me to greet this change with relief.On the Team:I've read the threads where some people want a romance to shake things up and others definately don't. Personally, I'd like to see the team become more comfortable and relaxed with each other. The 30 second shot of them having dinner together in Las Vegas was lovely to see and all too rare. They spend almost every day together. When they're on a case it has at times been necessary to put their lives in each other's hands. I'd like to know they're not just doing it because it's in their job description. I know some of you feel that they already appear as a family but sometimes it doesn't always seem apparent. This last episode with Rossi and Morgan staying to help Reid was wonderful to see. I know some of you are going to yell at me (sigh) and I've watched this show since its debut just like most of you and I just don't get the overall impression that they are as close as they should be considering just how long they have worked together.Alright I'm done. Thank you for letting me pour this out. As all of you have given me so much to think about I hope I've been able to return the favor. I'm looking forward to your feedback.

It does indeed happen, but they are in their little niches, the girls tend to hang out together outside of work (like in the episode with the "false" FBI agent for whom everything was "classified") but the men generaly don't, at least not since Gideon left.I don't think it is because they don't like each other, it is more because they don't trust each other with the personal aspects of their lives. Remember the looks on their faces when Reid told the psycho that pulled them into his fairytale "game" that his mother was , "a paranoid schizophrenic commited to a sanitarium".And when Morgan and Gideons replacement had their run-ins with their pasts.The men are trying to be stoic about it, but they are also being guarded about hurting either themselves or others.

I think that the team dynamics are correct at the moment & don't want to see any real romantic pairings between the team members. I think that all the team get on with each other well, some are closer to each other than others. This doesn't mean that they are romantically inclined to each other. Take Morgan & Garcia for instance, to me although they are very close & probably love each other, but it's as very close friends. I think Garcia does secretly? love Morgan, but if Morgan recepricated back then I think that Garcia would have lost that closeness to him, matters between them would be changed forever & they would lose some of that ease with each other.I know there are a lot of Morgan/ Garcia shippers out there, & I don't mind fan fiction ships.I, in some ways would like to see Emily & Hotch together but only in fan fiction & not cannon. As has been said before a boss with a lower rank wouldn't work, & it would be so against their characters.I don't really see any other pairings within the team. JJ & Will is OK. I don't mind as Will's only a recurring character & not a member of the team.

Jason Alexander looked ridiculous and the davinci flash around Reed was campy and ... Not thrilled with Montania anyway... Missing Mandy still, but generally dealing. Eh, I disagree that these plots are ever meant to be seen as "cool". But, that's an argument that I'm going to be prudent for once and stay far away from.So, I'll give the apparent minority opinion that I liked this episode. I thought Jason Alexander was excellent. I would have preferred him doing it because he was an evil man who hated humanity, rather than the cliche "you killed my brother, revenge! revenge!" But, up to that contrived point, I thought he was very creepy and effective. And, I wasn't distracted by his wig. But, I'm kind of wig ignorant. If I didn't already know that he was bald, I might not have even known he was wearing one (seriously I can never tell when someone is wearing a wig). And, yes, he was an evil serial killer, but I couldn't help enjoying him mock and belittle Rossi. Not to mention the cheesy, but very funny and not at all unsatisfying attack on Rossi at the end. Made me laugh out loud. There were a few nitpicks and the end did fizzle, but the rest was good.As far as profiling, wasn't that what they were doing when they first narrowed down his type to brunettes and figured out that he hadn't been arrested or in the military or taught school? And, how long he had to do the kidnapping and make it back for the seminar? All that was about his behavior. Then the narrowing down, working that he was a narcissist, and using that to try and narrow the victims he killed? So, I disagree that there was no profiling. They figured out a lot based on his behavior and history.So, I liked it. Not the best ever, not the best of the season, not the best anything, but I didn't find it bad.

My favorite part, however, was that that Todd woman gave me a bunch of new material to attack her on! Mwahahahaaha! The backwards profiling was pretty interesting, a new angle on profiling. All the talk on philosophy and stuff was kind of lost on me, but part of that was probably that I was working on frickin' Pre-Calculus while I was watching. The philosophy wasn't necessary to understand the case, though. I knew from the very start that that was a gas chamber, looked exactly like the ones that you see in the historical documenteries of the Holocaust. The acid was a twist, though. As for the people who are disturbed by the stories on kids, I understand that that is hard to watch. I wish real serial killers would leave children out of it (and people in general, since I don't see killing an adult as any better than killing a child), but unfortunately they don't, which makes the storyline fair game (in my opinion). None of the kids died in tonight's episode, fortunately.

I saw some profiling not what I normally see and that is what this team is about. They had the house and they knew it was a trap but never really said how. In the preview they showed an explosion innless I am seeing things. I think the writers let me down this time. I am going to have to watch it again to see what I missed that everyone liked so much.

I can understand the Garcia/Morgan scenario; however, they are too different. He tends to be her protector/big brother. Her relationship with the other FBI fellow suits her. They have their computer brilliance as a base. I would prefer this series to remain focused on the cases, not building romantic interests. A group, such as the BAU, is more efficient without the side effects of a married couple.

Charmonium, I would agree with that last comment if it was a marriage/relationship between two of the team members. But marriage in general, not so much. Relationships with people outside of the team, such as Kevin, Will, or Haley (though we know how that ended), are ok by me. But I do agree that they don't need a relationship between members of the team. Maybe you just meant relationships between team members in the first place. If so, sorry that I misunderstood.

I can survive without it, but it does provide a good laugh every now and then. Personally, I would love to see them bring the jet scenes back, particularly when they are talking or playing cards. For example, when Hotch, Reid, and JJ were playing gin, and Reid cheated when Hotch specifically told him not to. Absolutely hilarious! Or any of the classic conversations they have on the jet, a lot of them are very powerful and entertaining to lost. Those conversations used to leave me thinking for days after the episode ended, and I would like to see them get back to that. These were just things that were great during seasons 1 and 2, but they got away from it during season 3 and haven't gotten back to it this season. With that being said, though, this season is well on its way to being the best season yet, so there is really nothing to complain about.

I agree with everyone with the Garcia and Morgan pairing. And if JJ weren't pregnant with that police officer's baby (sorry I forget his name), I would have liked to see something happen between her and Reid. And as for your thought on Hotch needing to get over Hayley, I don't think it's all that simple. They were married with a baby, you can't get over that too quickly. And Hotch and Emily might be interesting at first, but not in the long run. I think that would get very tiring very quickly.

Think I'll pass. I'm not really big on any of the team hooking up together. I don't mind when they find someone that isn't on the team (like Kevin or Will), but that is pretty much where I draw the line.

Plus, she’d been somewhat protected in the last two years with Hell; Dan had especially went out of his way to shield her. And then Georgie, when the older woman had joined the team, and Carrie had probably grown too dependent on the older woman. Georgie had been a fierce defender in the nine months she’d known her. Half the time Carrie didn’t know what she’d do without Georgie. It had really frightened her two months ago, knowing Hell had nearly succeeded in running Georgie off. Instead of Georgie leaving the Investigative Support unit, this creature had joined. He’d stormed in and kicked out half his agents. Not that they’d been good agents. But she knew the truth—if she’d been in the CARD unit instead of the Complex Crimes unit with Hell, she’d have been the first agent gone. And she knew she’d done nothing to him. Still, twenty-four hours and she’d be home with her computers, and her cat. Linux was probably missing her already. The man waiting to deplane beside her reminded her of that cat. Linux had black hair, too. With just a tiny touch of white under his chin. Lorcan had a tiny bit of gray hair just over his ears. Five strands on one side, six on the other, she’d counted when he wasn’t looking. The eyes were the same, too. Bright green and tilted. Intense. His body was lean, and she knew it was toned, too. Just like Linux. He’d held her once, just for a moment, and she’d felt all that feline strength and power beneath her hands. It had been raining when they’d deplaned. She’d been afraid of the slick steps. She’d been on crutches. Zeke had lifted her out and Lorcan had been waiting at the bottom of the steps. He’d had no choice but to help Zeke get her off the plane. He hadn’t wanted to. She’d seen it in his cat eyes. So she’d stayed quiet, when all she’d wanted to do was scream no! She didn’t liked to be touched, except by Hell, Georgie, Dan, Josh, Zeke, or K.D., and now Dr. Eddie. Them only. More, he was primitive like the big black cat. Elemental, primal, is what Georgie had said about him. He felt, so he reacted.. Just like Linux had when he’d scratched her arm. Or bit her palm. Reacted. Reactions hurt. He was too big. Just like Stephenson. He’d thrown her off a cliff, and she couldn’t help but wonder what Lorcan would do to her if he got half the chance. She knew he didn’t like her. She also knew she was fast coming to not like him. She tapped her hand against her laptop, mindlessly repeating her beats. It calmed her, reassured her. So she always did it. Always. She didn’t miss the impatient look he sent her way. She knew he hated it. But she didn’t care, why should she care what Sebastian Lorcan thought? Other than the fact that he was a superior agent, of course. She had to remember that. And not let him get to her the way he had on the plane. Her breath caught as she remembered how he’d upset her. Talking about Stephenson always upset her. Always. And Lorcan always made her on edge. Made her regress to a point she hadn’t functioned at in years. And it embarrassed her. She’d thought she’d had better control of things than that. She’d not freaked out like this in months—even years. (As you can see, I've switched from Lorcan's POV in chapter one, to Carrie's in chapter two. If you'd like I'll send the rest of this chapter by PM)

Hi Falc! I don't think I've ever watched Shark....Remember that Carrie is mildly autistic and sees things differently than others. She struggles in social situations. I'll send the third part in a bit. (Dr. Eddie is a character who plays a role in Watching, that you've not 'met' yet)And I shall be watching [i] for your messages....

Hey foto! It was good, a lawyer show starring James Woods as Sebastain "Shark" Stark. It was on CBS, lasted a few years. Yeah, I guess that's true. I'll be waiting for it. Haven't met him yet, ok. I will be sending what I have soon. It is pretty much adjustments to what I had before, working on what you mentioned, but I added a lot of stuff before JJ talks to Hotch. Just have to grab my binder and sneak back down here.

I agree. Even if the accent bothered me, which it doesn't, I would still like him. I liked him in the first episode he was in, long before we knew that they had hooked up. Besides, that cop at the beginning of the last episode had a worse accent, in my opinion.

I just answered the question: the pairing I would like to see is Hotch / Reid . Besides, as far as we know, they could be bi. And I never rule out the possiblity of anyone falling for someone of the same sex, even if they're 'primarily' straight.

I forgot to mention that, on the het front, I would *LOVE* Morgan / Garcia ! I also used to passively ship JJ / Emily , but that pairing lost its shine to me, probably because I've ended up finding JJ a little annoying...And I wouldn't object if they decided to have Prentiss date either Jordan once JJ's back from her leave or Cooper .

We don't know if Prentiss is gay. However, she has a lot of fans that would like her to turn out gay. JJ is straight, which is why I don't understand why she gets stuck in that ship, but whatever makes them happy. Yeah, Morgan and Reid are straight. That is the first time that I've seen them paired on here, but there might be some stuff on fanfiction.com, I suppose.

I suppose the reason Morgan / Garcia is so popular is because it's not exactly your usual tv pairing. Hotch needs someone, but not on the team and I think a serial killer should off his ex first, but maybe that is just me.

Reid no one on the team, but seeing him finding and losing love could be interesting as for Garcia and Morgan I would love to see a hot steamy kiss between them, but then I think Garcia would have to let him know that she loves him, but if things got any deeper she isn't sure how it would effect her job, the job of keeping them all of them, but especially him safe. That way if God forbid either of them ever has to move on proffesionally as actors the writer's could throw us the bone of them getting together when one left. I don't think it would mess up the dynamic if the writers wanted to make them a couple they would make a good one. They should just torture the viewers by dragging it out until we can't tke it any more. LOL Everytime they are in a room together I am just willing them so hard to kiss it makes my lips hurt LOL

Reid has grown so much since the first season and there should be another influence besides work, and his parents. I am still a little bit for him and JJ yet I would not be upset if he was paired with someone who doesn't work with him.

I think that Garcia is just fine where she is. So is Morgan. Emily I sometimes have to take a pause for. If I wasn't so JJ and Reid happy i would definitely be on the Emily and Spencer team.

I don't mind the Hotch/JJ pairing in fanfiction, but I never want to see that or any among the other team members in the show. Just wouldn't be realistic - though I'm not sure how I feel about JJ/Will. I know they clicked when they first met on that case he was solving for his father but after that... it's like, I didn't see much chemistry between them.A relationship in the show between the team members would just ruin the dynamic between the team. They're more a family than lovers, and I think it should stay that way.

I like Spencer and JJ together but it never elaborated after their first date, and she has Will and Henry, but I think it would be funny if Spencer Reid and Emily Prentiss hooked up because they're both so much alike, they're both completely fascinated with new information. I don't like Hotch at all, but I defiently agree that he should get over Hayley. Morgan and Garcia I think are hilarious together, but if they got tohether all of their "dirty talk" would be looked at as in their relationship instead of just the way they are, everyone might start taking it seriously.

I have to say, as much as I love the idea of Reid/Prentiss, I'm not sure if I really want it explored on the show. It'd be interesting to explore what does happen when two team members get involved, but I'm a litle scared of it wrecking the dynamics. But then on the other hand, you never know unless you try? Eh. It's confusing.

Morgan and Garcia on the other hand, I would love to see get together, but not until the very last last last episode ever. Which I hope won't be for a majorly long time! I want them to have a happy ever after, but I think having just the tension between the two of them makes for a better show.

I don't see any chemistry with Hotch and Prentiss. They look like brother and sister. Prentiss and Morgan have more sparks together.

I don't want to see any of the team members pair up but I would like to see them in situations that inspire and/or feed the fanfic. I love, love Morgan and Garcia scenes. I play them over and over again. I love, love Morgan playing big brother to his little brother Dr. Reid. Iplay those over and over again too.I would love to seethe writersdo a story where Morgan and Prentiss have to go undercover as a couple. I think that would be so hilarious because Prentiss kind of likes Morgan but she's conflicted cause she also thinks he dogs women - which he doesn't. I'm not a Hotch fan. I like him and everyone on the team but I primarily watch cause I love Morgan, Garcia, and Reid.

CM is on CBS so the chances ofany pairof team membershooking up before S7 or S8 is highly unlikely. One thing I like about CBS is that they're not into overhauling a show's basic structure. CM is a procedural and I hope it will stay that way. I love the stories. I really don't like shows that are character driven. House used to be my favorite show until they turned it into a character study. Now, most of the time I hate it.

Morgan and Garcia hands down!!! They defo need to hook up! like yesterday!!! Reid and JJ, i really wish they had taken that chance of hooking them up or at least go on a few dates ... J.J. really cares about Reid. Hotch shouldn't hook up with anyone on the team. He still loves Hayley and he'll always put the team before anything else, so it'll have to be someone who understands his work.

I would love to see morgan and garcia become an item. They seem to be soulmates to me. I also think spencer and JJ should be together. I agree they should show more of their personal lives in the story line along with keeping a good investigation story,
