Let's honor our K9 Veterans!!!

http://k9veteransday.org/ This is a link to a site that wants to honor all of our wonderful K9 Veterans. We have memorials for the human veterans. Why not one for the K9's that also gave their lives during wartime? I am sure that there are veterans out there that owe their lives to the actions of the K9's.Pass this info along to everyone you know. Let's honor our K9 Veterans!!!!!!!!!!Kathiebe your best friend's best friend

Re:Let's honor our K9 Veterans!!!

My dogs are not War Dogs but two of the four are trained for Search and Rescue, I got into it after 9-11 and I am passionate about helping to find missing or lost people, so are my kids Freedom and Justice. Gunar and Shylo do not have a job just yet but we are trying to find what they really love to do. I think Gunar would be great at Agility but he is showing signs that he could be a Service dog as well, when my alarm goes off if I am in another room he runs to me and barks, I tell him show me and he takes me back to the alarm going off, and Shylo would be good as a Therapy Dog. I think Service Dogs in general should be saluted along with the War Dogs, like the Bomb K9's, Drug, Cancer and Scent Discriminate K9's. Dogs will do anything for Man but Man does not do enough for Dogs to keep them safe and loved.'
