Geez! It's about time Numb3rs finally got its own message board...especially since its the number one show on friday nights. I don't know does anyone think its starting to fizzle out a bit? I love it and I'll watch to the end...but so far the season hasn't been the greatest and it was some slow episodes last season too!

One of the best shows on TV. The math augments the action and the personal touch this show gives each character, making it human and enlightening. It has the perfect time slot, and it consistantly wins that slot due to no competition from the other networks. The acting is belieeble and the cinematography is excellent. I see this show lasting a long time.

I love Numb3rs. I watch it every Friday. Unfortunately, I just stopped watching Ghost Whisperer, and the Mentalist makes me want to hurl. I will have to try harder to watch this show. I like watching Charlie and Don try to find common ground in their relationship. It feels like this is the first time in their lives that they are relating well to each other.

Anonymous wrote: I think the show is considerably better this season. They're keeping up and coming up with new things without getting cliche or resorting to cheap soap-opera story lines. Also, the acting is stronger this season. Keep it up.

Thank you!I hate it when good shows, like CSI: NY and Numb3rs (my faves) repeat stuff, i.e. killer techniques, storylines, etc. I hate how they split up the bros, but it was a good idea to get people (including me) to get hooked on the show. Someone on the first page of replies said "bring back the math!" I wish they would do that, it makes the show interesting, and adds a twist. I also like how sometimes when Charlie (or rarely someone else) starts to explain something and the thing they're explaining becomes a picture with math formulas and equasions in the backround.NUMB3RS ROCKS Ice525

This show has great writers but they need to take a walk to clear their head, get invigorated, something. The lighting is so dark its depressing and nobody ever laughs. Have Don sit on a whoopee cushion as he is about to pontificate to his troops and have them all fall about laughing. I know the subject matter is serious but they need to balance that out with fun, positive things. Have Charlie take a pie to the face or Papa Eppes falls into a swimming pool. The one with Charlie, Larry and Amita concocting a "soup" outside the college with a surface they could run across was fun, the frozen pumpkins tossed off the high floors was another. They could spend time at a small amusement park or at a local zoo. Just a little change-up to keep the juice flowing.

This show is great. I wanted to study math applications, now this show helps me to expand my knowledge. Also love the way different personality types work so well and learn to seek out the special talents of the others.General knowledge of spaceweather could be added to a show. Geomagnetic storms can cause some batteries to decay or surges/breaks in electrical power on grids; loss of data in wireless transmissions. These events are not unexpected. Noaa satellites usually give good warning times. Internet searches:spaceweather NOAAThanks for continuing this great show.

Neighbor is a Cherokee Jew that is a math/forsenic scientist and I teach math (never thought HS math was anything but a waste of time, and one of our friends in a Indian Jew from India (Jews are from all cultures, India is one of the oldest). Since we believe MATH is an universal language---why can't they have the character "Amita" be Jewish????? The shows have shown that many cultures can exist side-by-side, so why not show that there are Jews of MANY cultures and nationalities and races. It would be good to see Jews/science/logic/intelligenc e shown in a positive LIGHT rather than a RACE so many think Judaism is! Visit the Jews in India and see how well the Indian culture is part of the Jewish life there! WHY NOT HAVE A NUMBERS SHOW WORK ON A SECURITY PROJECT FOR INDIA SINCE THIS HORRIBLE ATTACK ON THE JEWISH HOUSES IN MUMBAI and the Jews from England that are held in the hotels!

Great show. Thought season 3&4 were the best. So far I thought one of the best episodes was "Trust Metric". So far this season has been good with the exception of the new character Nikki. She's a pain in the ***. So far she seems to have given everyone attitude at some point. I really didn't like her sarcastic comments to Colby in the " Surf " episode or Don in the "Train "episode. I wish they could bring back Megan. If not for Colby, I would probably stop watching till they got rid of her. He is a major reason why I watch! However, I do find the whole concept of the show very original and I always like when Charlie tries to explain his math theories in terms the rest of the team understands. I think more action sequences would be great. Maybe a scene at Don's apartment (if he actually has one) LOL.

I love Numb3rs!! I've been watching since I the 1st season. I do agree though that this season (Season 5) the episodes have been so and so. I would like to see more romance going on with the brothers Eppes!! I love Amita! I think she is beautiful and the fact that Charlie and her are a mixed couple makes Numb3rs even more open minded! Although I don't think Robin is a great pick for Don. I loved Liz Warner for Don. I thought they made a good couple even though Don wasn't really committed. One of my fave characters is Larry. He has great lines and his character is just great! And funny! I loved him as the Biscuit in Ally McBeal too!! I just wish the writers would perk up the Eppes' love lives. Maybe down the line Charlie could get married t Amita. And something for the other characters too like Colby and Liz and David with someone. I hope they bring in some great guest stars too. I like Lou Diamond Phillips as Edgerton, maybe he could become a regular. The show's great, but it's kinda missing some excitement. Maybe they could show the characters having more fun like going out together to a concert and having David Cook guest star!!

Some reasons why S.5 is not as good as the might be because of Megan. Love her or hate her you can't deny she brought a certain element to the show. Also...now keep in mind I love Amita and Larry, but I've noticed that when Charlie is explaining math theories to the group they jump in alot. I prefer it when Charlie explains everything, and the gang gets that clueless look on their faces. Don't get me wrong I like them but the show is mainly about Charlie and now they seem to be as involved as him. What about some episodes where they carry over. You know instead of solving the case every week, have them chase the same bad guy for a couple of episodes, kinda like the miniature killer in CSI.

Re:Numb3rs in General

What I like about the show is that 1. it's about family-- the Eppes, and the FBI team2. one of the heroes is an intellectual, and doesn't use violence to solve problems3. the show decided to "out" the main characters as Jewish4. that makes Don a Jewish action hero; how many of those can you think of on TV series?5. and what could be more unique than a show with a hero who's a Jewish academic???While Millie was on board (I guess Kathy Najimy was no longer available) there was a strong sense of the academic context in which Charlie & Amita work, & that could have been continued, even with Millie's departure, which-- yes-- should have been explained. Listen, there could be a new dept. head, who wouldn't have to be a weekly presence.Megan was a psychological profiler; it is weird that when she left, the FBI didn't back-fill her position with another profiler. What Don hosile to the idea? Or were the producers?Did Alan's father or grandfather change the family name from Epstein to Eppes? It is weird that one never sees Don's own place. Hmmm. And I LOVE the house. I wish they still filmed in the real one, so we could see more of it.

I agree they should have explained Kathy Najimy's dissapearence and i would have liked another profiler to fill the position. We do see Don's appartment occasionally, most scenes of him with women have been at the same place so i assume its Don's appartment. I also really like the house, when they first had Alan talking about selling it i was alittle worried but am glad charlie bought it I also agree with all your reasons about why you enjoy the show but another reason for me is the dynamic between Colby and David. I love their scenes together and how much they really care. I was worried when they made Colby out to be a double agent that David and him couldnt come back from it or that they wouldnt come back so fast but the scene where David gives him the bait his dad made back it was so sweet. And its not just between Colby and David theres a great Dynamic between Charlie and Don and all the team. its just a great cast
