Matty's Psycho Laugh

Did anyone else notice Matty's psycho laugh during the "Mind over Matter" challenge? It was when it was just him and Bob left and he was trying to get Bob to drop the poles. Matty reminded me of Jack Nicholson in The Shining. I liked this guy before but his surfer guy and every other word is "dude" and "I love my girrrlfriend" act is getting old. Plus, it's hard for me to root for someone who who inherited a bunch of money and spent it all. It was great watching him talk trash to Bob (almost 60 years old...Matty is a personal trainer) and almost drop the pole. He was a quarter of an inch away from losing.

It sucks Bob lost, and he's probably on the chopping block for Kota next, but that guy put up one hell of a fight in that challenge. I got to say that I've been really impressed at his ability to compete in challenges...especially given his advanced age.

I just love Bob so much but his chances of winning are very slim because he never aligned himself with anyone.He has shown that he can compete with the younger players and that makes me very proud of him.I wish he could figure out a way to get into an alliance.

Well, keep in mind that we are only seeing a few minutes of every couple days. Who knows what happens that doesn't get aired. Bob isn't very controversial so I wouldn't doubt this is just creative editing by CBS to only show the schemers scheming.

C'mon Matty, are you really talking trash to a 60 year guy??? What a pathetic loser. As far as Bob not having a game plan, check out Jeff Probst's quote below...

He's consistent and he stays out of the way. Great strategy. Nobody is thinking about Bob at all. He's no dummy. He knows exactly what he's doing.

I'm pretty sure Jeff has seen the show before...he might know what he's talking about.

I just thought it was funny when he did that, and seriously your questioning him for taunting an old man?He knew that if he lost he would have been voted off that day, do whatever it takes to survive another day. Oh and where do you guys get these quotes from Jeff?

OMG that was freakin funny and I certainly did not take it as taunting a 60-year-old man; he was trying to make Bob lose his concentration/focus in order to pull off a win, however it didn’t go over to good and Matty almost lost it himself. Bob was doing really well until Matty and the other survivors started talking to him, once that happen combined with the passage of time he started to lose control of the poles, its unfortunate but that is the way the game goes. I love Bob and I really do hope he wins; the odds get even better as each week goes by because he is a shadow in this game, he is not making himself a target and it now looks like they have forgotten about him because of the other power players in this game.

I gotta say that I love Matty. He and Bob are the only ones that've stayed decent out there. Bob is great too but tonight was his version of the evil laugh, anything to stay in it. I've rooted for Matty from the first challenge. Everyone was trying like h*** to get that individual immunity but he was the first one to look back and think of the tribe. That speaks a lot to his character.

Man, I have to agree with you 100% about Matty. See thats what I notice as well, the "kind" and "thoughtfull" stuff with the contestants. ANd he had such a shitty tribe and tried his guts out int he immunities. I have to say he must be going a bit mental out there, near the end of the dominos challenge I heard him say something to Jeff and it was hilarious the way he said it. I think hes got camp fever! I would bet on Matty winning survivor, I already know hes in the final.

When he was doing that pole challenge is what I remembered him laughing and Jeff was saying to focus.He was fortunate that Bob dropped the pole. Since I had Mat as my team member, I didn't want him tolose, but I don't remember what he said offensive toward Bob. Then Mat laughed again at several otherchallenges. It is a strange giggle. Kind of funny though.

I like it, I think its a "psycho, been out in the wild too long and Jeffs funny" sort of laugh )

This is off topic but, In Matty's bio, it said that he wasted an inheritance. Well someone told me that he is the grandson of the woman who played Mrs. Roper on "Three's Company". Anyone have the scoop on this.Thanks

he didnt shoot himself...he has bad aim and he shot randy and corrine...and last night he had kenny shoot matty...bob still has two good feet left...LOL

I have a feeling he's going home next week. Maybe Ken has pissed some off but Ken has a better chance of pulling out of it than Bob. But then again Sugar is pissed at Ken, so it seems, and he might go, but I don't see Bob getting to the final three. Even if he does he won't get many votes.

so much for bob not being proactive or being a blind follower. he is now the strongest player and a lock to win if he gets to the final 3. marcus charlie corrine and randy probably will vote for him out of true like or spite for the others.

Yes it was kind of weird. But people you have to remember they are playing a game and I am sure someone else would have done something too to distract Bob. IT IS ALL A GAME

Everytime I heard Matty speak I kept thinking he sounded like some famous actor... And NOW I know who it is...Dean Winters. He's played in OZ (HBO series), Rescue Me (Tommy's brother) and most recently FOX's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Matty's voice may sound a bit more young (slightly more high-pitched), but that aside they really, really sound alike.Also, I think he looks like Stephen Dorff.
