I Love the Mentalists and chose it over Fringe.I'm eager for next week to see more of his back story. I hope they don't take too long to solve his family's murder so the character can grow and not remain stuck in the experience.Life on Mars is a fun look back on the 70's and I enjoy the actor. I can't stay awake to finish it usually and have to catch on on replay. I want more reveal on how/why he got there from here.

Hey Yoga, I love all of the 1970s stuff, too. I never thought I'd be nostalgic for the 70s!!! but I am. I am having a good time trying to figure out how he got there too. There are a few different theories. I love catching the clues through out the episodes. After last week, I am for sure he is in purgatory, but I hope not, because I love Sam and want him to be alive. Maybe parallel universe or a coma would work for me. I first tuned in to see Michael Imperioli and Gretchen Mol and got a great show. Sorry to go on about another show on this MB. I am behaving like a troll and I apologize.

Not an option.Every other network offers full episode reruns of it's popular shows. CBS is showing a lack of respect , if not disdain, for their viewers.Shame on you, CBS - bring back the full episodes. Or you are going to lose fans and support for your programs.

Yes, I've also read that in another thread here....somewhere. My favorite show Criminal Minds never shows full episodes either... and I read it the threads over there it is due to some isssue..? or something having to do with ABC. NYCjustine... I really sympathize with your feelings.... both my favs, CM and The Mentalist, for it's fans... we are just SOL.

Agree with you, cajun_moma!! I hated that they cancelled Moonlight. Now we have to wait til Jan to but the DVD. Thank goodness for 2 tv's in the house so I can watch NCIS and The Mentalist on Tuesdays.

So that's why I didn't realize that it was his story...I said: Wow!!..You have a voice!! I learned about some Awesome places...One gal from Ireland who posted picture's of where she lived by the ocean...Not picture's off of the Internet either.It was the most interesting to read what all of these fans had to bring about where they live that you can't read in a book...It was a wonderful and fun thread which lasted for about a year...I got a lot of History lessons too.Fun...Fun...Fun!!! Brad: To make a short story out of it, Warner Brothers is the controlled copyright holder for The Mentalist.That's the Company to be ticked off at and not necessarily CBS...You can read more about it in this thread in the General section of the board: THIS IS WHY CBS Pulled FULL EPISODES from CBS.com I swore that I wasn't going to bump that thread up anymore but I broke down because there is so much confusion...And all I did when this whole thing first started when the full episodes were pulled off was google to find out what the problem was...That thread is now a few pages long only from having it bumped up to the top for other fans to read so just click on the subject and that should take you to the first page...Then there are a couple of more articles but it all come's down to Warner Brothers not wanting any fans to watch the show online because they feel that they'll loose money with DVD sales which to me is Bogus but not much we can do except complain and watch it online where there are quite a few websites that are still showing the full episodes of which I also had a couple of threads for places to watch The Mentalist and the Admins took their magic wand and took them right out of those threads..So, I can't post them on the board or CBS will just remove them again...I've posted the "Feedback Form" all over in that thread, not that it will do much good but it's good to vent with. My parents and I, (I am 14), have been watching THE MENTALIST for a while now and enjoy it very much. However, in recent episodes we have noticed that the level of gore has gone way up, while the level of acting, storyline, and comedy have gone down. We do not watch the show for the gore, if we wanted gore we would just watch any other gruesome cop show, but we like the mentalist because of its unique characteristics. I hope that CBS and the crew of the mentalist see this comment and take out the gore (some is okay if it HELPS THE STORY), and bring back everything that I, and I think everyone else loves about the show. Yes. I have "Something New" on DVD. Gardening looks sexy in that movie. I'm new to these forums and message boards. I'm here because I really like this show. It's intriguing, witty, great idea for a series. David Nutter worked on the Pilot and that got my attention, because he also worked on another big show that I liked. Here, I like every scene where they show us how Jane observes the crime scenes, looks at the photographs, reads people, and how people react to him. That's the good stuff: I was hooked on this show within the first 10 minutes of the Pilot. Simon Baker plays those scenes wonderfully! The charm, the smile and the ever so slight amusement at people's reactions. I don't know. I'm sold, I believe that he can outwit and seduce any villainous black (or should I say red ) widow out there Jane's back-story is interesting, but I hope they will resolve some of it (specifically, the Red Jack story) in the first season. You drag such stories for too long and they inevitably turn into some bizarre, tangled nonsense. So, I hope they will end this in the season finale. And create another main villain for the second season. Next baddie should be called Black Jack, with black being in every episode's title, lol

When I started to ride her she was "cold backed" so progress was slow but we kept going and after I bought a saddle that is flocked with sheeps wool so it molds to her changing shape ie fatter in summer, slimmer in winter. She has been great.

I've raised many horses from babies, but I've only had a deep connection with one. He and I were friends, and he'd do anything Iasked (walk over a tarp on a windy day even). In the five years Ihad him (he died suddenly when he was 5) Igot so that I was able to air lead him (without halter, leadrope or even touching him) and could go out into the field at any time, and without even a halter jump on him and do a dressage test -- complete with slow down from trot to halt in a few yards. He was the first one that Iraised from a baby, and we worked well together. I've worked with other horses longer, but I think it's just that first connection. You're really blessed to still have that first horse after this long!

That was a smart move with the saddle. Idon't think that most people realize just how much effect the fit of a saddle has on the way a horse behaves. It was good that you were able to solve that issue, I've had to deal with that one before and it's not easy.

Something about it is catchy... the characters, the acting, the dialouge, and the plotlines are hardly ever boring, and I can never wait for the next week when Simon comes on again as the famed Patrick Jane!!! Something about him makes me crazy. Like, he's such a funny, level-headed, clever, and coy guy, and he is SOOOOadorably and undeniably hot!!!His history of being a crook make me feel sorry for him, and his story of losing his family makes me care about his character even more, because he's now using his powers for so much good.... solving crimes.... looking between the lies... and obsessing with finding Red John. He may be an awesome guy, but he's got a streak of darkness to him, and some of which we were shown on the finale episode of the Mentalist for Season One, "Red John's Footsteps." I have a feeling that we are going to be shown much more of this side of our beloved hottie later in the seasons... and it will be very intersting. And though Simon steals the show, the other characters are just as cool. Lisbon, the no-funny-business leader of the group who is suddenly thrust into Patrick's playful but clever ways that get her into trouble with the top people of the station. Cho, the dry-humored Japeneese guy who is good friends with Rigsby. Van Pelt, the beautiful and hard-working red-head of the station who harbors feelings for Rigsby. And yes, finally Rigsby, who, if Simon wasn't on the show, would be my guy. But Simon winns, definently. ;PRigsby, the big, tough, and amusing guy who loves Van Pelt but because of their job, he can't be with her. He's like a big, tough dummy, which may be why I'm so fond of him. Overall?Everything clicks in this show. It's so awesome.... I simply can't wait until the DVDs for it come out!!!!

LOL I watch a lot of the videos too...even ones that aren't Jane/Lisbon centric. Some of them are really good. I'm trying to read the fanfics, but there are so many and I just don't have enough time!LOL And RJ, Jane is not evil!
