I'm laying in my bed and the morning sun is streaming through my window. I hear a noise coming from the other room. Quietly I get up and tip toe towards the kitchen. Hmm... my waking dreams are more along the lines of sitting on the plane playing cards with Reid, Derek, and Aaron, and flirting with them a la "Garcia style". And they're all cool with it and flirting back. *happy thoughts*

Oh, sneaks, that's a sad one! ((HUGS)) It's a shame you couldn't have the Without a Trace team show up in your dream and find your kid in a hurry! (That's all they do on that show, is look for missing persons.)

Yay iha! I know when I dream of falling I usually wake up on the floor, so I'm relieved to hear you didn't hurt yourself. Yeah, you should check out some of the other threads here on the CM mb iha. The dreams have been so realistic that they freaked me out and I don't freak out easily! What ALWAYS happens,EVERY night is they pull me awayfrom my hospital to work as the 8th member of the BAU because I posses the ability to read people better than the team without being an arrogant wench,help Spencer without a computer,get people to talk without intimidation and make Hotch smile whenever I want!And I get along with all of them,like I've been there forever...

Welcome to the CM mb drmum! Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your loss drmum! I'm no expert at dream analysis or anything, but from what you wrote it sounds like a superhero dream (you being the superhero who can do everything better, faster, smarter, etc). You know you're capable, and you want to get out there and put your skills to good use. Of course, it depends on how you feel in those dreams, and when you wake up. Do you find the dreams enjoyable? Frustrating? Do they make you anxious or happy? Do you wake up feeling relieved, scared, or joyful? How you react to the dream is as important as what's happening in it.

If the dream makes you happy, it's probably a normal fantasy type dream that everyone has at times. Dealing with this sadness in your life at this time, if you're a naturally happy person you need an outlet for your happiness. Since you may feel you can't be overly joyful during your waking hours right now, your dreams are giving you a release / outlet for your joy while your waking self deals with this sorrow in your life at this time.

If the dreams make you feel anxious, sad, or frightened, it may be (going from what you've written) that you wish on some level you could have done something to help those people on the train, or be there with them, and the dreams are a way for you to "help" or "be there" now. The dreams help you, of course, deal with your regret or wish that you could have been there for those who were injured/killed in the train wreak, or just regret or relief that you weren't on the train when you feel you should have been. As your grief / sadness over the event subsides, the dreams will change in nature or they'll stop.

You probably dream about CM specifically because it's a show you like, and the characters spend their time helping others, and you said you profile some yourself so to a degree you identify with these characters. So to dream about being a part of the CM show makes sense for you at this time.

Either way, they sound like perfectly normal dreams. Recurring dreams usually help us work out problems in our lives that we can't while we're awake, or help us to confront something we don't want to while awake, or just help us be happy when we feel we can't in our waking lives.
