I kinda liked Crystal She had that "donemesswith" attitude that is hardly seen in Survivor. While Crystal was a "bad" person from what the show said, how can Sugar not realize that she WON'T win against Bob in the final? She just pulled a Colby over here.

I totally agree with mist and badlands. Sugar gained alot of respect from alot of people tonight. I commend her in telling Bob the plan and giving up her HII. At this point, I don't care who is final 3 as long as Kenny isn't one of them.
Re:snaky Kenny

Er. Bob lied about two idols, tricked a teammate into going home, and deceived Ken into a bad position. Now, at Ken's expense, he's ahead in trust and position because of his lies.(Yeah, remember what he did to Randy? He encouraged Randy to piss EVERYBODY off in the hopes of using an immunity idol and pushed him right into Ponderosa. How? By lying, if I recall correctly. Sacrificing Randy to keep himself alive. By lying)Which, quite frankly, is great playing. Bob has somehow pushed himself away from Ken and put Ken as the next to go, even though Bob's a tremendous threat. Bob's play has suddenly become great. Deceitful, but great. So now I'm wondering why, when you've seen Bob lie directly to people's faces and put them in bad positions with those lies, you think it's abominable that Ken has done the same thing. Ken wanted Bob to give him immunity because he believed himself to be a target (you know, keeping yourself in the game? A good thing?). He also wanted to vote Bob out because Bob could feasibly win immunity all the way to final 3 (which would preclude Ken from winning, a bad thing for Ken). So his idea was strategically sound. But it would involve selling an ally out to further his own game and lying to make it happen. Kind of like Bob did with Randy. So Bob lies, and Ken lies. Bob is good because he's a great guy, Ken is evil because he's deceitful. Am I missing something here?If you don't like Ken for being cocky, alright, say that. If you don't like him because he's creepy looking and has a funny voice, say that. Don't flout bullshit morality and double standards when everybody on that island is playing with the intent of winning. That's like Marcus whining about Kenny's behavior when Marcus planned on betraying Susie, or like how he cried when Susie betrayed him first. Are you saying it's okay to deceive people you just don't like? It's okay for Bob to lie to Randy because he's a jerk, but Ken can't betray Bob because he's a sweet old man?

Re:snaky Kenny

I know very well that in the final analysis this is a game and the stakes are high, but I think Kenny really came off as a real snake in this last installment. At first I thought that he should have been the one to be voted off before Krystal, but I think that Kenny is now adrift without the support of a strong female behind him--the ultimate death blow (or so it should be, if there is justice still left in the world). I think that is the ultimate punishment for him.--he is now a man marooned without his "yes woman" to reinforce his devious plans. I thought he dove to a new low in trying to trick Bob out of the immunity necklace then voting him off. I hope you're next Kenny. You crawled lower than a sidewinder there, Kenny Boy. Enjoy the view from the jury.

xxmadkuntxx wrote: Crystal deserved to win. The rest a fcukin LOSERSWHO WANTS TO ARGUE?BRING IT!!!!!!!!

No. Go away.willsson: is it lower than giving fake immunity to an ally and drawing a target on his back? That's like encouraging your army buddy to wear body armor made of paper and climb out of the trenches in a neon jumpsuit while you crawl away.Think about it; how else can you get Bob out if he keeps winning immunity? There is no other way. You have to make him give it up and take him out when he does. This entire game consists of convincing people that their move will be strong when it's actually weak. Nobody--who intends to win--will do something they don't think is in their best interest. Then again, that excludes Sugar who "just wants the good guys to win."You know, the girl who never, ever turned on an alliance, lied to somebody's face, or laughed at somebody's misfortune. Sugar is either a hypocrite, an idiot, or the best damn actress on the face of the planet.

Everyone was fed up with Randy's mouth. He was the next to go, regardless. And he knew it. Which is why he was so relieved when Bob handed over the fake idol.So unless Bob actually said, "Randy, feel free to run that mouth & make a complete ass of yourself, 'cause I've got you covered, buddy", you can't accurately say he tricked Randy into leaving. What he DID do was make the exit (which, again, was happening regardless) more amusing for everyone else. The pay-off? Get in the good graces of Sugar.I see what you're saying & agree on this point - They've both lied.Course they have. They're trying to win a million bucks! So was Johnny Fairplay... In truth, I just don't like Kenny very much. He's arrogant and cutthroat. And his little show at Tribal Council...? ---- "Bob, I just really feel scared right now. Jeff, he promised me if I felt scared he would give me his idol. He's not keeping his word. I'm afraid I'm going home. Bob? Bob? come on, Bob. Bob is so strong and good, I mean, he's BOB! Won't you give it to me, Bob?? ... Sorry. It made me a little nauseated. Moreso than a cocky little guy finding himself in a less-appealing position because he was fooled by the outcast he wrote off as "a bad strategic player". Ultimately though, yes.

DragonflyPHX wrote: Er. Bob lied about two idols, tricked a teammate into going home, and deceived Ken into a bad position. Now, at Ken's expense, he's ahead in trust and position because of his lies. (Yeah, remember what he did to Randy? He encouraged Randy to piss EVERYBODY off in the hopes of using an immunity idol and pushed him right into Ponderosa. How? By lying, if I recall correctly. Sacrificing Randy to keep himself alive. By lying) Which, quite frankly, is great playing. It's okay for Bob to lie to Randy because he's a jerk, but Ken can't betray Bob because he's a sweet old man?

he was on exile and randy and corrine were banking on him getting an idol. by the time bob was back it was way to late. Also I feel that Randy needed a little kick in the pants after acting the way he was. Bob maned up and admitted he was wrong for what he did at his own risk. what he and corrine did to kenny crystal wsa complete survival. so I feel that he is still the most honest person there.

I'm still rooting for Ken.It has been a long way since he started the lying and scheming (I'd say episode 4 when he pulled Kelly on board) compared with Bob who only started at episode 10.So Ken pulled it off far longer than Bob. Sure tribemates become suspicious and annoyed after such a long time. Just like the viewers, they accept a bit of lying and backstabbing, but after 8 episodes it becomes too much for them to handle.I suppose it is also mentally very draining to keep it up for so long, where as Bob laid low and is now mentally fit as a fiddle. So: yeah, Ken worked much harder on it, therefore I'm still rooting for him. But we've got another 2 hours to see it unfold. As for trying to vote Bob out: makes perfect sense to me. He wins immunity challenges and is the jury's favorite. OF COURSE he should be taken out at the earliest opportunity if the others want any chance at winning the million. What's got "unfair" got to do with it?

Survivor game play wise my respect for Bob's game has been tarnished by his M/O of "playing the game" then crying "I have too much integrity to do as I have done"I have not lost touch that Bob did start out survivor playing the game. He did some maneuvering against ace and sugar. He got cosy hearing he was in top 5 then started playing the again when he had to. BTW- Bob is the facilitator of the humiliation of Randy. Makes him equally guilty in my book. buying protection knowing it would be at the expense of Randy's dignity is a bit low. there is a clip that shows bob smiling when randy played the idol. what got bob mad was how hard sugar laughed. not that she laughed.

Is is sad that pretty much every player still in this game owes their fate to Kenny, and now at least two of them think he is "evil" when it was his very same strategic thinking that has kept ALL of them in the game. Ken was thinking strategically and rationally. His goal was to take out the biggest target to therefor increase both his chances and everyone else's at winning. Sugar was thinking emotionally, she didn't didn't care about her chances, which are now basically zero because she will not win the game over the likes of Bob/Matty, one of which is now bound to make top 3. If she had kept Ken/Crystal, she would have a decent chance of winning, because both players had made enemies. Bob? No enemies (except maybe Ken now). Matty? Not many enemies either.

Re:snaky Kenny

I think Sugar may actually be playing strategically still. How many times this season has she pretended to play based on emotion and really played strategically, to win? She knew quite well how the game was proceeding when she was talking to Matty at camp and more or less telling him he'd be voted off next. And, she outplayed everyone last episode strategically, successfully voting out the person she wanted gone (Crystal). It doesn't add up to me for Sugar to suddenly decide to play "to have the good guys win" when we know she's been pretending to be dumb all season. The only thing is that voting out Crystal was really stupid from a strategic point of view....right?Is it really though? Sugar would have had the best chance of winning a jury vote against Crystal and Suzie. However, there was one roadblock before then: the final immunity challenge, where whoever was left of Bob/Matty/Kenny would have a great chance of winning. And if that person did win immunity, Sugar would be the one to go, as she would fare better with the jury than Suzie or Crystal. Getting rid of Crystal now all but guarantees her a place in the final 3.But isn't it impossible for her to beat Bob, Ken, or Matty in the final? Yes, she almost certainly cannot beat Bob- and she knows Bob is the biggest threat and said so- but she still has 2 opportunities to vote him off. If he doesn't win immunity even once, he's gone. What about Ken or Matty? Well, previously, she was clearly well behind those 2 in ability to win a jury vote, but her position there has improved I think as a result of the blindside of Crystal. Further, Sugar still holds all the power, and can control the next 2 tribal councils as well- by the end, she can very well argue she has been the best player strategically. Certainly she has played better than Matty, and it'd be hard for Kenny to argue he was the strategic mastermind if Sugar was the one in control of the game from the final 6 onward.I'm not sure if all that adds up to a good move strategically, but I wouldn't call it a really bad move at least. If Bob doesn't win immunity this next challenge or if he gives it to Kenny, he's out. If he does win and keeps it for himself, Sugar then must decide between Ken and Matty immediately. Her prospects are probably about the same either way, I think- they should have similar abilities to win jury votes. So Sugar could just choose the one she likes more, which I have a feeling is Kenny, although I really have no idea. She's liked Kenny more throughout the season, and I think most of her anger was directed at Crystal.

alphazealot wrote: Ken's mistake was letting to many people know to much information and putting his faith in far to many people. Ken overlooked the fact that not everyone plays to win-some people actually do play with "honor" or some other BS where you inherently limit your own potential.

Kenny made four blunders.Kenny's first mistake was falling for Bob's second fake idol. Had Kenny used his head, he would have realized that if Marcus really pulled a switcheroo when he tossed the idol in to the ocean, that Bob, Corinne, and Randy would have used that idol to save Randy. With that thought in mind, Kenny would have come to the natural conclusion that they were playing him.Second, since Kenny did not figure out that it was a fake, he made the mistake of voting Matty. In poker terms, he showed his hand. A Survivor fan for years, he should have figured out, Hey, if I vote Corinne and she plays the idol, big threat Matty is gone when our votes for Corinne are tossed. We still have a 4-2 advantage over Corinne and Bob and they have no hidden idols to hide behind and my alliance doesn't hate me.Third, discussing his plan to blindside Bob after Ken got the immunity necklace. Crystal was his only true ally, something he displayed by only sharing Bob & Corinne's plan with her. Kenny made the rest feel sorry for Bob, leading to their flip. Fourth, a huge mistake made by both Crystal and Ken, lashing out at Matty. Everyone (except probably Sue) was ready to vote big physical threat Matty off. Made Sugar feel sorry for Matty and want to get back at them.

Yeah, Sugar had no shot against anyone except perhaps Kenny/Crystal and Susie.I agree with girly55. Sugar didn't really seem to care that much. She was like, Yeah, a million would be nice but I'm not kissing any butt to get it.

That is called thinking irrationally. Also, I agree with most of those mistakes listed for Ken.

Looks like I was completely wrong about Sugar wanting to win. She's not stupid though- if she is then what does that make the other survivors? She has different goals; clearly, $1,000,000 was not that important to her.

Ken's mistakes1. Falling for the fake idol.2. Not being willing to commit to ousting Matty or Corinne. 3. Trying to get Bob and Corinne's jury vote.4. Trying to blindside Bob instead of just ousting Matty. Those are Ken's 4 small mistakes. The two big ones are1. Trusting Sugar.2. Getting Cocky.I am impressed with how Ken played. Honestly he should have been gone within the first couple of episodes for being near useless at challenges. He made good plays when himself and his allies were on the chopping block. Several times I remember thinking that Ken will be gone in the next couple of episodes only to see him triumph. Then during the merge Ken actually competed with Bob, and Matty at challenges. I think had they taken out Bob Ken probably would have won several challenges. So little gamer Kenny played a good strategic game and towards the end he wasn't half bad at challenges.

Am so glad Kenny didn't make it. He was such a shiftless loser. Kenny, I hope you read this. You need to go back to school or to your grandmother to get your moral compass back in kilter. Get your head outta the gaming world. That is NOT the real world. You can't move people around as you said: like chess pieces. You got a LONNNNNNGGGGGGG way to go to command my respect; and you sure didn't get it on this SURVIVOR!!

snaky Kenny

I'll say what I said before. Please realize that in Kens profession. Using his so called "Mindgames" is a huge part of his life and thus strategy in survivor."Mindgames" Involve manipulating people to do what you want. Tricking people in order to improve you position. And constantly coming up with new ideas and stratagies to win."Ken did all of these very well. What you may not know is that "Mindgames" does not involve lying. When you play a video game like smash, you usually don't talk. Lying is what got him in the end as he wasn't the best at that. He couldn't recover.Behind the mask and all of his tricks, Ken is just a little kid. He says survivor improved his life and it did. For all of those you doubt it listen to this.Ken wanted to emerge as a social leader. It was something he has never done before. Most gamers are quiet people you know and Ken is not much of an exception. Survivor did change him. It gave him leadership traits that he never had.

Ken's entire strategy involved on manipulating people that wanted to win. What Ken failed to realize is that certain people can't be predicted and are irrational. That person is Sugar. Ken never predicted that Sugar wasn't playing to win but for a lifetime experience. She didn't care who won in the end as long as she made it to the end.Ken played a good game. Those who say otherwise really don't know him.For a little insight, Ken is like a person with a split personality. Once he gets involved in a game like survivor and smash, he can be very competitive and powerful. However, outside of the game, he really is a genuine person. It's unfortunate that you only got to see half of what makes up Ken.

No, I am not as fixated on Kenny as you are, swordplay. He got as much time from me as everybody else on the show. Why should I pay special attention to him? I didn't see ANY endearing qualities in that immature little man with NO real-life experience, that was worth getting to know him more. Why are you on this crusade to fight for him? Makes one wonder what your real-life priorities are.
