Episode 1: Bleu Dolphin

"You read my story man?"Falc asked the Doc from across the table.

Doc didn't look up from his sheet of random facts for the day, "uh huh"

"You never told me what you thought," Falc said in an almost threatening manner.

"You told me not to comment," If it weren't for the weird random facts Doc was known to drop without hesitaiton at a moment's notice, falc would have been sure he was actually reading the funnies.

"I told you not to speculate, you're messing up my style man,"Falc told him, throwing his fork down on the plate in a most dramatic fashion.

"Same dif right?" Doc took another sip of the Red Bull he had the waitress poor into a coffee mug.

" Will you 2 shut up? " Bleu glared at them. They went quiet immediately, " We got work to do. "

"What kind of work boss?"Doc asked.

" The kind we're good at, "Bleu told them as the screen faded black and the opening credits began to play.

By the time the credits had faded the team had already returned to the office. Falc appeared to be working over his computer despite the fact that it was clear the team had something to discuss, his reasoning... unkown, this is one of those mysteries about TVshows that never quite make sense but the producers assume the audience is too busy to notice. It didn't work this time.

Falc said from over his computer where bleu was certain he was surfing the CM web forums, "so boss, now will you give us somewhat more specific details about what the job we're doing is about?"

" We've been hired by a client to dig up some information, "Bleu began.

"Yeah? And? we ARE a private detective agency..." Doc told her.

" Will you let me finish? " Bleu demanded.

"Yeah let her finish," Falc said sticking his tongue out at Doc.

" You're not helping kid, "Bleu told him, " The target is this man here, he spends a lot of time at local Dive bars, where his friend thinks he's been talking crap about him. Doc will go undercover and befriend the target and see if he is talking **** about the guy. Falc you'll be in his ear and record everything that is said, also you'll need to drive him home. "

"Why can't Ibe the one undercover," Falc demanded.

" You aren't 21! I'm not allowed to send you into a bar, besides you don't drink you'd stick out too much. " Bleu told him.

"Aw man this sucks! if JJwere in charge I'd never have to do this kind of assignment,"he said typing into the forums.

Doc had not heard the entire breifing as he had been too busy counting out dimes for the vending machine, "Sounds good boss, I'll drive"

The other 2 glared at him.

Just then, it faded to the first commercial break.

"You going in?"Falc asked Doc from the driver's side.

"Seriously dude, we're not supposed to be here for 3 hours, Ithought we were getting food," Doc demanded.

"Dude it's 10 o'clock!" Falc told him.

"No it's 7 o'clock my time," Doc told him.

"Oh that's right, I got confused by the fact that although we apparently work together we live 3 time zone apart," Falc said, scratching his head. The pair of them drove down the street to a local taco shop to get that food they'd been talking about, "What did bleu want again?"

"Chinese take out,"Doc told him.

"I'll get her fish tacos instead," Falc decided placing his money on the counter.

"Did you know fish Taco's originated in Baja California, which is in Mexico and not California," Doc told him, "Though at one time California was Mexico."

"WOW really?" Falc faked enthusiasm with expert precision.

After an expertly cut scene break we open up on Bleu sitting in the office laughing about something Doc wrote on a sticky note and posted on Falc's desk even though the two have been hanging out together all day. Falc and Doc burst through the door fighting over who gets to go through first and end up trying to squeeze past each other.

Bleu glared at the tacos sitting on her desk, " ok, there is no way that this is fried rice and mandarin chicken, "she glared at falc.

"What? noooo, they must have gotten our order wrong," Doc said with a hint of sarcasm most would have missed.

" Here! "Bleu said to Doc, angrily switching his soda with a bottle of water, " can't have you hung over tomorrow when you type up that report "

Doc sighed and then turned to play minesweeper on the computer for the next few hours, during which time the network figured it would be good to go to another commercial break.

Yeah I'm not quite that introverted here, must be because I work with them and have to play mother hen!LOL!

Just make some nachos in the microwave. Faster, cheaper, and still Mexican food.

"Carona,"Doc slurred to the bar tender who seemed to be wobbling like a drunk. Doc realized he was actually the one wobbling and held himself up on counter.

"Doc?"the female tender said a hint of recognition in her voice, "It's been a while! how you been?"

The Doc squinted until the blurry bartender became a much less blurry hnybunchz from the mentalist forums wearing a smock, "Heeey, hny! I'm on the case!"

"I'll bet,"hny said, thinking he was making a joke about how much he'd drunk before coming in, "Here's your drink"

"Thanks," Doc said raising his drink to her, "We need you to come back to the forums one of these days"

"Thank you," Hny said raising the bill he'd left on the counter.

"I do what Ican," Doc's catch phrase leaving a smile on the bartender's face.

"Doc, do you see the target?" Avoice came in over his earpiece as he scanned the Patrons at the bar. A look of shock and realization came over his face as they cut away, though it was too soon after the last commercial break so they made an awkward scene change instead.

He radio'd back, "Is that Thomas Gibson? TV's Aaron "Hotch" Hotchner and a bunch of groupies in this dive bar?"

" So that's an affirmative, "Bleu interpretted.

"Wait, I'm supposed to spy on Hotch? Who's the client?" Doc asked back, shock in his voice.

" He asked me to call him 'Matt' Ithink it's an alias, " Bleu told him.

"Aww man, Dr. Reid asked you nicely to look into this?" Doc sounded peeved.

"Yeah, we're not getting paid for this one,"Falc said at nearly the same time in nearly the same tone as we cut to him in the car outside the bar so we don't forget about him.

Cutting back to Doc, over the Radio bleu's voice once again, " That's why I hired you guys, you're such amazing detectives. Figured that all out and Ididn't have to tell you. "

"I'm going radio silent,"Doc said, pulling his ear piece out and tossing it into a trash can behind the bar. He walked over to a line forming near TGwhere he recognized a couple familiar faces.

"Doc!" ThursdayNext and thn exclaimed as he approached the autograph line.

"Hey Ladies,"Doc greeted them.

"Hey no cuts man!" shouted someone near the back of the line. Doc ignoring him continued talking to his forum buddies.

"I said no cuts man!" the man said approaching Doc, getting a few cheers from people farther back in line. He punched Doc square in the jaw. Doc collapsed into Hotch's table then crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

As he came to, he found Bleu standing above him and Sneaks holding an ice pack and the large man clearly beaten within inches of his life next to him.

"Guess all that boxing came in handy," Red shrugged.

The two helped Doc up, and out of the bar. As they got close to falc's car, who looked more worried about getting blood in it than he was concerned with Doc, Blue finally spoke up, " You know you were supposed to find out if he was talking crap about MGG "

Doc smiled a bloody smile as he almost collapsed again. Holding up a recording device in his hand it suddenly became apparent to his business partners and the audience that he had bugged Thomas Gibson's table on his way down. After a cut the team met back at the office to review the tape.

"I didn't hear any trash talk," Doc said, clearly playing solitaire and not listening to it.

"Absence of proof isn't disproof," Falc said then turning to bleu, "Is disproof a word? now I'm talking like the Doc!"

" We still didn't get anything concrete, " Bleu told him.

"I don't trust the guy he's up to something," Falc said.

"You say that about everyone,"Doc said rolling his eyes,"He seemed like a good guy"

"You say THATabout everyone,"Falc shot back. Doc began to wonder why he was arguing the point. As long as they were on the case he could write off his drinks as business expenses.

" Doc?!? What the hell is up with this expense report? " Bleu said holding up said expense report for Doc to see, " I'm not paying for your beers.
"

"Yeah..."Doc said, "I'm not going undercover for this case again, better start looking for another"

Then the end credits rolled, but before the viewers could see who helped make this show possible the writing got smushed to the side and really tiny as a clip from next week's episode implying Doc was going to quite showed over it even though we all know the writers don't have the balls to write off one of the title characters.

Falc coughed clearing his throat, to which Bleu gave him a death glare.

" That should cover it no problem, " Bleu told the lady before hanging up, " Where's Doc? We got a paying Gig "

Falc motioned to the door behind him that said Maintenance. Bleu opened it up to find Doc, Splatter, Xoni and 2 others sitting around an old pizza box with little figurines place on top.

" Doc! Just playD&D in the conference room! There's a table out there, and comfy chairs and stuff, "Doc started to pack up the game at her words, " Not now though, we've got a case grab your coat. "

Doc stood up and grabbed the coats he'd been sitting on, tossing one to bleu he turned to the group, "I'll be back in a bit," and the opening credits rolled.

"Bleu, thought you said we had a case bleu,"Falc whined.

" Shut up Falc, I'm thinking, " Bleu snapped back.

"What is our case anyways? A murder?" Doc asked

"Aw man, we're going to be chasing a lunatic,"Falc was not really looking forward to this case.

"Did you know the term lunatic originates from the mistaken beleif that the full moon could drive people mad, thus Luna as in Lunar meaning moon," Doc replied not realizing neither of his coworkers cared.

" Funny you should mention that Doc, "Bleu chimed in.

Though too early to cut for commercials a quick cut find Falc standing on Doc's shoulders near a window into the crime scene attempting to take pictures without crossing the yellow tape.

"I just don't know man, I think Red Vines are just a myth perpetrated by West Coast elite," Falc explained, "you know like Redwoods you can drive your car through and big foot!"

Doc, tempted to drop him shouted back, "You take that back!"

"Don't drop me! I take it back,"Falc apologized, "I'm sure Red Vines are delicious, I'm not getting the shots I need, we need to pack it up."

Setting down Falc, Doc tore into him, "Listen Ihad a friend who was mauled to death by big foot. Try telling him it was a myth!"

Already on trying to hail Bleu on the phone Falc took a step back, "Alright man, alright! Yeah bleu, it looks like a wild animal tore through the place, I know it doesn't help the case at all, we need some blood samples or something. No Iknow there can't be werewolves murdering people in town, but we were hired to find proof. Understood."

Looking up at Doc in a most dramatic manner Falc relayed the message, "We are breaking into that crime scene to get blood samples to prove there isn't a werewolf on the loose."

"Wow,"Doc said, "you couldn't have made something so stupid sound any more cool, Bravo"

"I know right?"Falc said as we left for our first commercial break.

Sweet update there doc!! ROFL love the red vines convo! LOL! You've really captured falc's whining *chuckles* And funny you should put that lunatic thing in....just had a convo the other day about that, where I went off on a tangent about the hisory of the word...(yes I have my reid moments) LOL!

Hi Dana! Actually, there are two on the artwork thread. The first one starts around pg 66. It's not in any different color so it may be pretty hard to find. If you want, PM me your e-mail and I'll send you the first one so you can read it straight without having to dig back for it. The second one starts somewhere around pg 100 or so. The second one (that I'm still working on) is the one in orange print so it's much easier to find. I've made four posts (Ithink) for that one. I hope you like them!

I saw a few eps last night on USA (I think?) He and Ziva were both in those and they were good. I think the ep I saw was McGee's first ep. He's funny. Ziva seems pretty badass from what little I've seen of her. Technically I'm still in the first season.

I can't remember which thread I said this in (I think it was this one, only 15 pages or so ago!) Anyway, I went to see Styx and REO Speedwagon last night at our annual City Stages Concert. It's a three-day outdoor festival right smack in the middle of downtown Birmingham, Alabama. I said I'd post a youtube vid if anyone ever posted one. Here's the only one I could find. That would actually be an excellent idea, sparkle. I mean, he's done it before, and we have those types of arguments constantly, so why not. Or he could look at some of the other convos for inspiration, since a lot of it is just based off board convos. But he is being stubborn and frustrated, so he probably won't listen. LOL!

Back from what seemed like the longest commercial break in the history of man, the fans have all but lost interest, many changing channels and flipping back so the advertisers clearly aren't getting their money's worth. We find Falc and Doc with their brain trust sitting at the conference table. The brain trust at this time consisting of Sparkletasia - Doc's protege, Wotumba1, and steffers.

"Ok so here's the deal," Falc breifed the group, "We need to get into a crime scene that we're prohibited from. There are police guards keeping people out."

"Wotumba1!" Doc yelled to Wotumba who was sitting next to him, "Any ideas?"

"uhh..." trying to get the ringing out of her ears she replied, "What if you ride a horse... wait for it, to the crime scene?"

"ok... next idea," Falc said, "looking around the room."

"No no," said steffers, "I think we should touch on this horse idea some more... horses are great!"

"I'm not denying that horses are great, but that doesn't really help us get through the yellow tape," Doc said turning to Sparky, "Anything, you got anything?"

She was making a little paper clip army complete with catapults, it appeared to be incredibly indepth. She looked up only long enough to say, " I'm thinking, " before heading back into her work.

"You see? You can have the horse jump over the yellow tape!" The other 2 were still excited about the horse idea, but neither falc nor Doc had any inkling how it would help them into the crime scene.

Turning to each other Doc, suggested, "We could try to rope over from the house next door, but you remember how well that worked last time."

"Everyone loves horses," Falc and doc weren't even listening to the conversation anymore they just gleemed bits here and there.

"Third time's a charm?" Falc suggested.

"No it didn't work the third time either," Doc reminded him, "this would be what? attempt 8 or 9? to rope over from a near by building?"

"10th," falc said after counting it out on his fingers.

" I GOT IT! " Anything yelled excitedly, " you guys watch enough TV, why not just pose as feds after the shift change and they'll just let you in. "

"Yeah right," Doc said, and crumpled a piece of paper and threw it across the table as his mentee.

" Ok, what have we come up with?
" Bleu demanded as she entered the room.

"Me and Doc were thinking, what if, we disguise ourselves as feds and sneak into the crime scene after the shift change?" Falc suggested.

" Hey that was my idea! " anything shouted at them.

"Yeah," Doc scoffed, "whatever"

" Loose the cannons! " Sparks yelled flicking a paper clip on her army, the army appeared to start marching on it's own before firing the cannons loaded with paper balls at the two who stole her idea. As the two ducked for cover it left for commercial break but after the ridonkulously long break last time it seems this set will be much much shorter.

"Sorry guys, this crime scene is closed." The officer instructed them.

" They didn't tell you we were coming? What is going on here? I want to see your superior! " Bleu demanded, walking the officer to another part of the scene. Which falc and Doc used as their cue to duck under the line and start checking out the crime scene.

Taking notes based on the crime scene furiously into their notebooks they examined the crime scene. Doc spoke up first, " Hey falc can you grab a sample of this for Splatter back in the lab. I'll head into the other room and check it out."

Falc grabbed a sample of the blood splatter stuffing it into his sock, before bleu ran in yelling, " Cheese it guys! It's the Fuzz!
"

As the team got up to run, the real feds entered the Room.

" Stop right there, Bleu's Boys! Get them out of my crime scene, This is a federal crime scene now!" Agent Andrews yelled at them.

" You mean you were called in to assist, and we will too eventually we were just getting a head start on the investigation... " Bleu said to him, as falc and Doc subtly rip the pages out of their notebooks, stuffing them into an envelope and handing it to Bleu without the agents noticing.

" Agent Lewis please show them off the premise," Andrews instructed the other Agent.

"You know Lewis, we could use you over at Bleu's Boys," Doc told Lewis as he escorted them out.

"MOVEIT!" he yelled at them.

"I'm just saying," Doc told him.

Bleu stuffed the envelope the Boys handed her into the lead detective's front pocket, " Open this in 4 hours, we had 5 minutes, we found this much stuff, in 4 hours an entire squad of FBI guys will have found half this stuff, and you give us a call , our card is inside. "

As they stepped outside, Lewis turned to them, " C'mon guys, you got to at least pretend you hate me, you know Ihate kicking you out of crime scenes but you know I might lose my job, that Agent Andrews is a real hard ****!"

Falc patted him on the shoulder, " It's cool man, We'll see you in 4 hours"

As the team hopped back in their SUV, they all looked at each other with puzzled looks.

Doc spoke up first, "Did boss just tell us to 'Cheese it'?"

Falc was next, "anyone have this weird feeling like we've done that before?"

" I don't know but if that works out, I think Igot us double payment for the same job, "Bleu said, looking as confused as the other 2 still.

"No Idefinitely woulda remembered Bleu yelling, 'Cheese it guys, it's the Fuzz," before," Doc said, trying to piece together what just happened.

"Like Deja Vu or something," Falc said, "Seriously that felt so familiar,"

"Deja Vu, means literally, 'already seen' in french," Doc pointed out, "Seriously though, 'Cheese it'? Sounds more like something falc would say"

And the end Credits rolled.

Good luck Artsy. It sucks when that happens. But I have a funny story about something like that...There's a McDonald's in the food court at the mall where I work and for lunch my friend went there and ordered a plain cheeseburger. She got up to the breakroom and started to eat and looked down and shouted "Where's my burger?!?!?" THEY FORGOT THE MEAT!!!!! It was hysterical!!!

Yeah... i was dancing and i realized how much i missed Dancing. So i found a wonderful picture of Ballet Shoes.

*nods in agreement* I actually like that they had the team all split up at the end, because it left room for a bunch of good little scenes. CM doesn't leave a lot of room for raw emotions for JJ or Hotch (or Em, for that matter), so I liked that we got to see a bit of that from all three of them in season 3 (JJ in Amplification, Em in Demonology, and Hotch in Omnivore). It is a nice way to spice up their characters, and they use it just enough. That, and it gives all three of them (A.J., TG, and Paget) a chance to really shine.

A lot of my favorite eps came in season four, but I think overall season 2 is probably my favorite. In order, I'd probably go 2, 4, 1, 3. Though Ido think the season 3 finale was the best.

Iliked "V for Vendetta", too. Definitely worth seeing. Ididn't know the story going in and I still enjoyed it. It would probably make a lot more sense to you, Sparks, since you actually know the story behind it.
