THIS WEEK'S DETOUR
The first Detour option, quicker but much more harrowing, was to hang glide off Pedra Bonita Mountain all the way to São Conrado beach below. The second option, safer but slower, involved taking a taxi to São Conrado beach and using metal detectors to find a buried treasure box. All Teams chose to hang glide except Shola & Doyin, who won the Fast Forward, and Gary & Dave. After losing the Fast Forward, Gary & Dave began the buried treasure option, but soon realized that hang gliding would be much faster, so switched to that quicker-but-scarier option.
