What was your worst moment in the Race?
Mary: When emotions ran over the edge!
Peach: Drinking the tea oil.
What was the best moment in the Race?
Mary: Experiencing different cultures in their own environment.
Peach: Meeting all the people.
When and how was your relationship with your teammate strengthened or changed?
Mary: Dragging each other along the way--good and bad. We'll still see each other at Christmas--we're sisters.
Peach: We're sisters, so we always have ups and downs, but our hearts are always close.
Is there any place you'd revisit, or wish you had been able to visit?
Mary: New Zealand
Peach: I would go back to South Africa.
If you could do the Race over, what would you do differently?
Mary: Rest more. Stick with facts and not let the environment affect you.
Peach: Relax and enjoy everything.
Of all the things you packed, what was the most useful?
Mary: Plastic tarp.
Peach: Wet ones.
What did you wish you'd brought with you, but didn't?
Mary: Hair gel.
Peach: Peanut butter.
