What was your worst moment in the Race?
Dennis: The worst moment was when we were told that all the morning flights were filled leaving Cancun. It was a helpless feeling knowing the others were on their way.
Andrew: Of course, the donkey races-geez, that sucked! I got dehydrated and felt pretty nasty. But hey, we survived our mistake then.

What was the best moment in the Race?
Dennis: For me, it was completing the tank ride and seeing the waiting limo. Total contrast!
Andrew: I loved swimming with the dolphins and relaxing on the beach at the Pit Stop.

When and how was your relationship with your teammate strengthened or changed?
Dennis: I saw a much more mature and take-charge Andrew on this race. He never sat back and waited for Dad to take care of everything; instead, he stepped forward and often took the lead.
Andrew: My relationship with my dad has grown tremendously. He was willing to stand beside me, and now we're more friends than father and son.

Is there any place you'd revisit, or wish you had been able to visit?
Dennis: I love to travel, and would like to return to each place, but specifically I would wish to return to the top of the "Pyramid of the Sun."
Andrew: I fell in love with England! But I'm also dying to swim with the dolphins again. Maybe Sea World will hook me up!

If you could do the Race over, what would you do differently?
Dennis: I would pack lighter, and would jump out of the plane. It is very important to conserve energy for the demands of the race.
Andrew: First of all, "eliminated" sounds so harsh, how about we say…permanently removed? Ha ha! You can't shoot yourself for mistakes you made, but I would probably try to relax a little bit more (mentally) and enjoy these phenomenal places we got to travel to.

Of all the things you packed, what was the most useful?
Dennis: Convertible pants (the legs zip off). This helps to eliminate one piece of additional clothing. Too much of a load in you pack definitely slows you down.
Andrew: Well, underwear and deodorant are, of course, nice to have, but I'm really glad I brought a smile. You have to go into this extreme experience with a good attitude and unlike some of the other teams, I was happy throughout.

What did you wish you'd brought with you, but didn't?
Dennis: I wish I could have brought the rest of my family and friends. There is no way words can describe the experience.
Andrew: I wish I had brought more snack food. I lost like 7-10 pounds, and I don't have 10 pounds to lose! I'm a slim guy, and I looked like Olive Oyl's son!

Now that you've finished the Race, what are your plans?
Dennis: It's back to the real world. I'm running the "Lexington Ice Center" and preparing for our busy season. All the attention has been great, and I wish to thank everyone for their support. We hope we didn't let everyone down.
Andrew: I work with kids at the Manchester Center in Lexington. I'm the Youth Development Coordinator, so basically, I plan the activities and things. I've also acted since I was two years old, so I'll continue to do that and goof off on my website. And, I'll continue to visit the Soccer Moms in Hilton Head! I love them!
