What was your worst moment in the Race?
Derek: Looking for the route marker on the banks of the Saigon River.
Drew: Running by a sign that read "park cyclos here" in Saigon.
What was the best moment in the Race?
Derek: Bungee jumping from the highest bridge in Europe and then getting the chance to call my beautiful wife.
Drew: Finishing 11th on the first leg of the race.
When and how was your relationship with your teammate strengthened or changed?
Derek: It hasn't!
Drew: It hasn't.
Is there any place you'd revisit, or wish you had been able to visit?
Derek: I can't wait to take my wife to Grindelwald, Switzerland.
Drew: I would love to go back to revisit Scotland and Grindelwald, Switzerland, and I would have loved to have been able to see Ireland and South Africa.
If you could do the Race over, what would you do differently?
Derek: Cheat!
Drew: Closed my eyes while speaking to Ian in his disposable underwear.
Of all the things you packed, what was the most useful?
Derek: A compass and a clothesline.
Drew: Convertible pants and ziploc bags.
What did you wish you'd brought with you, but didn't?
Derek: Febreeze.
Drew: A knowledge of the Vietnamese language.
Now that you've finished the Race, what are your plans?
Derek: I will continue to pursue my comedy and acting career.
Drew: Go back to work as a photographer.
