What was your worst moment in the Race?

John Vito: Philimination in Singapore was by far the worst moment in the race for me. Although I was extremely happy to have made it to both the 10th leg of the race and to Asia, we had set a goal of crossing the finish line. Winning the million would have been a nice bonus, but not completing the race was the biggest disappointment for me.
Jill: The worst moment was standing on the mat in Singapore being told by Phil that JV and I had been eliminated. We were so proud of how far we had made it, but so disappointed and sad to be out of the race.

What was the best moment in the Race?

John Vito: It would be difficult to choose just one moment, as every day was an incredible adventure. Whether we did something we would never ordinarily do, such as skydiving, or overcame a situation that we thought meant definite last place, such as hiring a tow truck to tow us to the Pit Stop in leg one, every day of the race we did things that we will never forget.
Jill: The best moments were skydiving and getting to call my mother. Although it wasn't shown during leg 9, JV and I were fortunately given the opportunity to call our mothers once we arrived at the Steamship Savoie.

When and how was your relationship with your teammate strengthened or changed?

John Vito: Although Jill & I have an excellent relationship, THE AMAZING RACE was a true test of high-stress situations. I am extremely happy with our performance under those conditions.
Jill: JV and I were lucky enough to have an extremely strong relationship before entering the race and THE AMAZING RACE only solidified this fact. Our relationship has not changed at all. If anything, now we have many more unbelievable memories.

Is there any place you'd revisit, or wish you had been able to visit?

John Vito: We loved Grindelwald, Switzerland and Singapore. I would have loved to go to Alaska.
Jill: There were so many beautiful places throughout the race. My favorite place to revisit would have to be Grindelwald, Switzerland. I felt like I was in a fairytale city and would love to go back there. A close second were Singapore and Scotland.

If you could do the Race over, what would you do differently?

John Vito: We ran the race exactly the way we intended: teamwork, determination, and we never let fear affect our decisions.
Jill: I would not change a thing about how I ran the race, but I would definitely pack a little lighter!

Of all the things you packed, what was the most useful?

John Vito: I found our compass, flashlight, feet & hand warmers (for when we slept outside at the bobsled), and a large supply of clean underwear to be essential items.
Jill: The most useful thing JV and I took with us was our compass. We used this many times throughout the race.

What did you wish you'd brought with you, but didn't?

John Vito: An eye patch for the crossbow debacle and a translator for my crossbow instructor.
Jill: I don't think at any point along the race there was anything I wished I had brought with me that wouldn't have been against the rules.

Now that you've finished the Race, what are your plans?

John Vito: Back to work.
Jill: My plans are to go back to my everyday life regarding work, family and friends.
