Sarah Bernard is a contributing editor at New York magazine, where she writes about everything from fashion and food to real estate and family dramas. She is also a contributing editor at Elle, and has written for Harper's Bazaar, Details, Allure and Premiere. She appears frequently on television as a pop-culture expert on CNN's "American Morning," as well as a guest commentator on VH1. A native New Yorker, Sarah graduated from Brown University.
Instead of joining with the military as his father wanted, Jon attended Ringling Bros. Clown College. "I really had a love for performing and making people laugh," he says. Jon’s girlfriend, Laura, chose to join him as wife and assistant, and together they have three young children who travel with them. A member of the world-famous Clown Alley, he's also masterful at balancing objects (everything from shoes to lunchroom tables to chainsaws) all at the end of his chin. And if that's not enough, he’s been shot out of a cannon more than anyone else in history as the “Human Cannonball”--more than 5,000 times.
Jon also appeared, along with fellow clown Al Rios, as a contestant on THE AMAZING RACE 4. Jon and Al didn't win, but along the way they became one of the most popular Teams in the show's history. Currently, Jon serves as a host who mingles with the audience during the new Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Hometown Edition. In addition to his amazing balancing act and clowning craziness, Jon roams the audience to answer questions, share circus secrets, and invite audience members to take part in the action personally
