Bearing: On Horseshoe Bend at the Glen Canyon Dam, Teams needed to travel by motorized raft to a location and choose one of five colored coded cards with a unique compass coordinate. Then, using a compass, they followed the coordinate to their next card. To complete the task, they had to find three locations in this manor and collect the same colored card at each point. The Weavers tested their sense of direction.

Bailing: Also on Horseshoe Bend, the Teams traveled by motorized raft to a section of water where they had to select a submerged boat and bail enough water out of it to make it light enough to carry onshore to a marked location. The Linz, Godlewski, Bransen and Paolo families opted to bail.


In this Roadblock, one Team member had to take off in a fighter plane and, on orders from the pilot, take control of the plane and perform a 360-degree loop in the air. Rolly Weaver, Megan Linz, Sharon Godlewski, Brian Paolo and Lauren Bransen took to the friendly skies.
