Summer Is No Time for Autumn; Hardy Has HoH
With one more Houseuest gone, it's time for the new Head of Household to be established. In a competition called "By the Numbers," the HouseGuests are asked number-based questions that they answer silently, by raising a paddle with a number on it. Each of the questions is about the remaining nine HouseGuests. Chill Town is relying on putting one of their members into the private bedroom, but Will gets knocked out by the first question, along with Bunky and Kent. Monica goes out next, followed by Nicole, then Mike. Shannon and Hardy are the last two contestants in a "sudden death" battle. After they both incorrectly answer two questions, Shannon loses out on a third question, giving the HoH status to Hardy.

Chill Town now has a confirmed enemy in the seat of power, someone who has often stated he will lose happily, so long as they lose first. Can Chill Town get to Hardy and change his mind? Does Nicole need to convince the "Real People" that she's still on their side and not a naturalized Chill Town citizen? Look to the Saturday episode of Big Brother 2 for the answers.
