Two's Company, Three's a Crowd

At the door, an angrier Monica tells Nicole, "I'm not shocked, because I know who you are and I know how you roll, so I am not surprised. You've got some things you need to work on and you're gonna do fine with them, but you're gonna have to deal with this one for a very long time." She slaps hands with Will, smiling, and tells him, "Baby, it's on when we're out of here. When we come back to vote, it's on." Monica leaves a stunned Nicole behind and walks into the studio for her interview with Julie Chen. Inside the House, Will takes Nicole's silence to mean that she was upset about the way the Competition went or that she was uncomfortable eliminating Monica face to face. Nicole, for her part, is very upset by Monica's final words to her, describing herself as "shredded" and "shattered."

In the studio with Julie, Monica says she is proud of herself, and that she knew she wouldn't make it to the Finals past Will and Nicole. She is very angry with Nicole, saying, "that whole song and dance about her husband? That was crap." Julie asks Monica to clarify her final statements to Nicole and Will. Monica explains that she feels Nicole has problems with "her self esteem, how she feels about people and life. She has to work on stuff with herself before she can be very happy doing other things." Her final declaration of "It's on" to Will was also for Nicole's benefit, a way of saying, "she will not get my vote. If I can't get her one way, I'll get her another way."
