JULIE TALKS TO MARCELLAS, RODDY AND AMY
Marcellas is sequestered in the HoH room to talk candidly with Julie. He expresses "profound disappointment" in Amy over the last week, and says that her behavior is wildly at odds with the way the other HouseGuests treat each other. He does say, however, that he still loves her. Marcellas adds that winning HoH this week wasn't his first choice, since there wasn't one HouseGuest he wanted to target for eviction. He was happy to get the letter from home and the photograph that came with taking the power. After Danielle's earlier expression of wanting to win HoH tonight, Marcellas seconds the thought, saying he also wants her to take the title tonight.

After Marcellas rejoins the group in the living room, Julie talks to the two nominees, Roddy and Amy. Julie asks Roddy if he's upset that Amy didn't save him with the Veto Power like she promised to do in Week Two . Roddy expresses disappointment, saying that Amy can do what she wants, and admits that he doesn't agree with her decision. Amy calls her choice "the worst decision I could have made." Amy says she feels "selfish" for not honoring the promise she made to Roddy after he wouldn't promise her a vote to keep her in the House, since it would be breaking a previous promise he had made.

IN THE DIARY ROOM
The HouseGuests have a tough decision to make. They recognize Roddy for the strong competitor and threat that he is, but are also concerned about Amy's behavior. Danielle, leader of the "Oust Roddy" movement, says that because she's caught him in several lies, she's not convinced he'd back her up and therefore has to go. She adds that Amy, however, needs to be the center of attention, and thinks Amy tries too hard to be sexy.

Jason says that this week they've seen some of the "old Amy" whose tendency to "make things bigger than they need to be" grows tiresome. He has kind words for Roddy, referring to him as a "good friend" and saying that he loves having him in the House. Lisa says she feels safe with Roddy in the House, speculating that he'd target other players before he looked at her. She adds that it was refreshing to get to know the "two sides to Amy," and that it's nice to know there's "a real person in there."

RODDY EVICTED 3-0
Julie announces to the assembled group that Roddy has been evicted by a vote of 3-0. Amy starts to cry as Roddy stands and tells the group, "I love you guys very much." After he makes his way across to the studio, he sits with Julie, who asks him his reaction to his eviction. Roddy says he is surprised, since everyone had promised him separately that he was safe, and chalks up his eviction to "mass hysteria." Julie asks him directly about his strategy, which Roddy says changed after he realized the others were perceiving him as "too strong". He admits to using his charm to ingratiate himself with HouseGuests both in and out of the House in an effort to clear the way for a victory in the final vote. After watching the taped reactions to his departure from the remaining HouseGuests, Roddy says he wants Jason or Lisa to win the game.

HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD COMPETITION
With Marcellas ineligible to win another HoH Competition, Amy, Lisa, Danielle and Jason settle in to play a game called "Freeze-Frame." They are shown a series of video clips that freeze near the end. Julie asks them a multiple-choice question about what happens when the clip resumes. The HouseGuests answer using a triangle with each side marked A, B or C. The last person remaining in the game is the next HoH.

The first video clip is of Gerry's departure from the House, paused just as he's about to open the door. The question is "Before Gerry opened the door to leave after being evicted, he A) blew a kiss. B) Gave a thumbs up. C) Saluted." The answer is B, which Lisa and Amy both get wrong, leaving Danielle and Jason. Question 2 is "While putting on his grass skirt during the Luau Luxury Competition, the next thing Josh said was A) "I know I look good in drag." B) "Tan is not my color." C) "Grass skirts make me itch." The answer is A, but Danielle guesses wrong, giving the HoH power to Jason for the second time.

Tune in on Thursday, September 12th, for a special 2-hour BIG BROTHER 3 episode, including a live Veto Meeting, a live eviction vote and one last major twist to the game!
