SIGMUND FREUD VISITS THE HOUSE
Former flames Alison and Justin relieve some stress from the game (and their unwanted reunion) with a friendly spar in the backyard. They don boxing gloves, and the fight is fair until Justin accidentally lands a hit on Alison's face, causing a very small injury and an end to the fight.
As Alison ices her eye, she gabs with the girls about Justin. In an unfortunate and unmistakable Freudian slip, Alison accidentally refers to Justin as "my boyfriend." As her mistake dawns on her, she breaks down in tears, realizing her slip-up could upset her current beau: "My boyfriend is probably getting his heart broken." The girls whisk her inside and try to cheer her up, but she is inconsolable…until David's hilarious antics turn her frown upside down.
If Nathan is King of the House, David is definitely the Court Jester, keeping all the HouseGuests laughing with his goofiness, including Dana, who says she "wouldn't expect that kind of comedy from an army ranger." But are his crack-ups all they're cracked up to be? Some of the HouseGuests wonder about David's intentions, and even David admits that his humor is "distracting everyone" from considering him a threat.
But David's not the only wild one in the House. In true slumber party fashion, the HouseGuests strike up a wild game of "Truth or Dare," with everyone participating except Jack, Scott, Erika and David, who opt to play a slightly milder game of chess outside. The HouseGuests prove themselves to be a very daring bunch indeed, with Alison giving Nathan a sexy lap-dance, and Michelle massaging Justin's backside--all in the name of fun. But the quieter clique outside is less than impressed with their Housemates' antics, and what Scott calls an "immature" game. Scott makes his disapproval known, which causes a rift between the two groups.
LOVE IN THE TIME OF WAR
In what could be interpreted as either a stroke of romanticism or a maneuver of war, Scott pours his heart out to Amanda, saying "I think about you everyday." Amanda seems reluctant to believe his words, but Scott confirms his affection later in the Diary Room, saying "I want to spend the rest of my life with her."
The HouseGuests get their first glimpse of the Nomination Box, and their first taste of the dread that comes with it. The strategies move into high gear, and Michelle notes, "the game has really begun." Scott enters the HoH Room where Jun, Allison and Nathan are talking to remind them about the "Elite Eight" and the pact they made to kick the exes out first. But his reaction to the Truth or Dare game has not yet been forgotten, and there are a lot of angry whispers about him as soon as he exits the room.
NOMINATION CEREMONY
In what Nathan calls "the most dreaded part of the game," the HouseGuests gather around the Nomination Box to learn their fate. Before he begins, Nathan assures his Housemates that "this is not personal; it's a game." But for Amanda and Jee, the game may be over sooner than they want it to be. Nathan justifies his nomination choices by saying that he "can't trust" Amanda, and that he had to put up Jee to go up against her. Scott is furious with Nathan's decision to nominate his former girlfriend, and even Jun is sorry to see her ex on the chopping block. But Amanda and Jee seem calm. After all, anything can happen in the next few days.
How will the Nominations affect the House? And what about the Power of Veto? Find out Tuesday at 8:00 PM on the next episode of BIG BROTHER 4!
