The growing tension mounts, until finally, the first nominations are announced. Amanda and Jee are the first two HouseGuests nominated for eviction from the BIG BROTHER House, and their futures hang in the balance.

The 13 HouseGuests are off and running, with the game's first lies and first allies. Ex-flames Amanda and Scott become reacquainted by arguing in every room in the House, while Alison fakes an alliance with her former beau, Justin. With the "X Factor" turning up the heat in the House, players scramble to form alliances before the first Head of Household Competition. In the end, Nathan becomes the first HoH and has the power to nominate two of his housemates. Will tension between the exes be a distraction from the game or serve as fuel for the fire?

BIG BROTHER 4 begins as eight new HouseGuests move into the BIG BROTHER House, prepared for a summer of competition and isolation from the outside world. What they aren't prepared for is the big twist, known as the "X Factor." The eight soon realize the house is equipped for 13. But who are the other five? Jaws drop and minds are blown as they learn that they will be joined by five of their ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends. After their first Food Competition, their former flames move into the House, and any preconceived strategies of how to play the game are thrown out the window.
