LIES, ALLIANCES…AND THE LAVATORY?
The hot tub may have relaxed them, but the HouseGuests are anything but reposed. Alison secures a false allegiance to her former beau, Justin, by plotting with him to form a "secret alliance," complete with fake fights for their roommates' benefit. She tells Justin she "adores" him, but the truth comes out later when she says, "I hate him" and "I need him out." Although the "Elite Eight" claim they'll stick to their original plan to evict the five exes, mini-alliances are popping up everywhere. Erika, Scott and David vow to "watch each other's backs," while Nathan, Jun and Alison sneak into the lavatory to conspire. Jee overhears their whispers, and reports back to Justin and Robert.

NATHAN FIRST HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD
The power struggle begins with the first HoH competition. The title of Head of Household comes with luxuries (private room with a locked door, laundry service, stocked fridge, and a secure spot in the House another week), but also comes with the responsibility of nominating two HouseGuests for eviction.

Julie instructs the HouseGuests to pair up, but since there are an odd number of people, one person must volunteer to sit out. Scott happily agrees to do this, while the others form pairs: Jack/David, Alison/Nathan, Amanda/Michelle, Erika/Jee, Jun/Dana and Robert/Justin. The teams then separate into "sitters" and "kneelers," with the sitters strapped into chairs and the kneelers facing them. Julie then explains that balanced above each sitter is a bucket of fish guts. The kneelers must kneel with one knee on a button. If that button is released, the bucket of chum is dumped on their partner, and the team is eliminated.

Eight minutes in, David loses his balance and Jack gets a lap full of fishies. While Scott watches comfortably from the sidelines, Michelle is next to falter, and Amanda gets covered in guts. The next two teams down are Dana/Jun and Jee/Erika, with Jun and Erika on the receiving end of the sliming. Two teams remain: Robert/Justin and Alison/Nathan. Desperate to avoid the fish guts, Alison promises Robert and Justin she won't nominate either of them if they agree to bow out of the competition. Nathan agrees, and Robert and Justin let the other pair win. In a sad twist, Alison still gets the bucket of fish parts poured on her.

With Nathan and Alison as the winning team, Julie reveals that "sideline" Scott will make the ultimate decision: he chooses Nathan to be the first Head of Household. How will Nathan handle the responsibility as Head of Household? Find out Friday night at 8:00 pm ET/PT on BIG BROTHER 4.
