ROB-FEST OR SOB-FEST?
Although Alison has "no idea how Robert ended up with Erika," Jun has figured out the secret to his success with the ladies: "he reeks of self-confidence." Robert himself says the key is self-assurance: "I believe I'm doing them a favor by talking to them." Although his confidence seemed to have worked on Erika in the past, she now says that he is like a "used car salesman."
But is that used car salesman the cause of Erika's weeping? The strain of the game, not to mention having an unwanted ex in the House, has caused her to shed a few tears, and Jack has stepped up as a "father figure" to console her. Jun, however, is skeptical of the authenticity of Erika's crying, and Erika's former beau Robert chimes in with "I don't believe it for a second."
Can Erika see the game clearly through all those tears? Justin approaches HoH Jee to suggest someone for nomination: Erika. He explains to Jee that evicting Erika would break up her alliance with Jack and David. Justin adds that Jee shouldn't be fooled if Dave and Jack vote with the House for Erika's eviction: they would be willing to vote off one of their own in order to protect the identities of their alliance members.
PENDULUM OF POWER SWINGS WIDE
Innocent Michelle has had it with ex-boyfriend David's constant teasing, and she confronts him. Michelle accuses him of "making fun of her," and tells him that it's hurting her feelings. David refuses to take her seriously, which frustrates her even more. Adding injury to insult, Jee calls Michelle into the Head of Household Room to warn her that he will be putting her up for eviction as a decoy, assuring her that it's a "safe bet." Crying, Michelle says that "it does happen that the pawn goes out." After she heads back outside, David seems to have a change of heart, as he consoles her and then takes action to protect her. He takes Jee into the HoH Room and suggests putting Dana up instead of Michelle. Jee pretends to listen, but he later issues a warning in the Diary Room: "Don't take my kindness for weakness."
AND THE NOMINEES ARE…
The tension in the House is building as the hour of nominations gets closer. As the oldest female in the House, Erika offers youngster Michelle some advice before the Nomination Ceremony, telling her, "It's just a game. This is not your life, and these are not your friends."
Meanwhile, Jee is "ready" to wield his power, and calls everyone into the House for the dreaded deed. The HouseGuests are frozen with fear as Jee begins the process of evicting one of their own by saying, "the game has to be played." One by one, the players pull their keys from the box, until only two are keyless: Erika and Michelle. Jee explains his decision by telling Erika that she was chosen because she makes "a lot of people feel uncomfortable" and explaining to Michelle that she was "a good fit to put up against Erika." Michelle fights back tears during the ceremony, but has fighting words later in the Diary Room: "The game has just begun for me…no more innocence." Erika, meanwhile, has "zero idea" what's going to happen next.
