NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK
Wondering about last year's cast? In a "Where are They Now?" update, Marcellas seems happy with his life since BIG BROTHER 3, living in Los Angeles and modeling. In true Marcellas form, he says, "I'm a starlet, and I love it!" Meanwhile, Tonya and Marcellas have apparently made up from last year's tiffs, and Tonya is happily engaged and living in Vegas, baby. She says that she is just a "simple person who did a reality show." Playgirl poser Josh is still with his girlfriend Merritt and living in Los Angeles. About his decision to bare all in a nude photo layout, Josh points out, "I look good!" BB3 winner Lisa says that she gave a lot of her money to family, friends and charity, but saved enough to quit bartending and focus on acting: "I've had so many possibilities." Though she's no longer with Eric, the two spent time together, but ultimately wanted different things.
But how is the current cast faring under the pressure of the first live eviction? Julie asks chopping block mates Jee and Amanda if they were surprised to find themselves up for nomination in the first week, and they both reply that they were not. Amanda also says that she "knew" she'd be on the chopping block, based on her housemates' behavior toward her.
AMANDA EVICTED, 9-0
Julie prefaces the first BIGBROTHER 4 eviction with the words "the wait is over." In a unanimous decision, the HouseGuests vote to evict Amanda from the House. Receiving hugs from the 11 people she's lived with for over a week, Amanda makes her way towards the door, stopping for a kiss from Dave. After she leaves, the HouseGuests console each other, and Amanda sits with Julie for a few questions. Amanda tells Julie she resisted flirting in the House while Scott was her housemate in an effort not to "hurt him," and acknowledges that the other HouseGuests were not comfortable with their fights in the House. On the other hand, when Julie questions her about her new relationship with David, she says that she would "love to see David again."
"MAJORITY RULES" HoH COMPETITION
The HouseGuests stand holding a red paddle and a green paddle, each representing different answers. Julie asks a series of questions about the group's opinions about their fellow HouseGuests. The object of the game is to guess how the other HouseGuests will answer, rather than stating one's personal opinion. HouseGuests answering in the majority move on to the next round; those in the minority are eliminated.
When asked who the majority would think has a better smile, the majority choose Amanda over Erika; Erika, Alison and Dana are eliminated. After everyone agrees that Nathan would look better in drag than Justin, Julie asks who would be more likely to use someone else's toothbrush to clean the toilet out of anger, Jun or Dana. The majority choose Jun, and David, Jun, and Jack are eliminated. After a tie-breaking question, Jee gets the ultimate promotion and is named the new Head of Household. The tables will turn next week, as Jee is given the power to nominate two people for eviction. Will Jee seek revenge on Nathan? And will his ex be a factor? Find out on Friday at 8:00PM ET/PT on BIG BROTHER 4.
