AS THE STOMACH TURNS
After a week of plenteous food and drink, the HouseGuests face possible PB&J punishment if they fail in the Food Competition. In Hawaiian-style bathing suits, the housemates head outside to the backyard, which has been transformed into a tropical island, complete with tiki torches, sand and surfboards for dining tables. Erika welcomes them to the “Clam Bake from Hell,” and with a flash of fire, the HouseGuests realize this Competition might not be a fun one. Each person is playing for a day of the week, and if they lose, the entire House will be forced to eat PB&J that day. Erika informs them that each player must eat an “exotic seafood dish.” They have two choices: to eat the dish in front of them, or pass it to the player on the left. If they choose to pass, they must consume the second dish they are given. Each person has one minute to clean their plate in order to win food for the House on their designated day.
After dining on dishes such as octopus, monkfish liver and fish eyeballs, Jun, Jack, Robert and Jee win food for their designated days, while Alison and Justin choke, sentencing the House to PB&J two days of the week.
STOOGES STRUGGLE
As the power shifts, the Stooges grapple with the knowledge that their reign may come to an end. Jee admits to Justin that he was guaranteed safety in the cage during the HoH Competition, which means that the likely nominees will be Justin and Robert. Jee points out that Robert hasn’t “done a great deal” to help out the Stooges’ alliance, and tells Justin that he could have enough votes to stay if Alison, Jun and Jee vote to evict Robert. Later, Jee and Robert approach Alison, seeking safety in numbers. They ask Alison if she intends to stay with their alliance, and they assure her that they would rather have her on their team than Jun. Ali tells them that “Jun cannot find out” about their deal. She later admits in the Diary Room that her strategy is to “bounce back and forth with the power.”
TWO OF THREE STOOGES NOMINATED
Before the Nomination Ceremony, the HouseGuests realize they’ve reached a critical point in the game, in which, as Jack says, they “have to turn on each other.” Jee is fearful that Erika “might not keep her word,” while Jun says she doesn’t “trust anyone.” Erika begins the nomination process by informing her housemates that she came into the game with the intention to nominate people “strategically” instead of “emotionally.”
With that said, she turns the first key, which is Jack’s. After Ali, Jee and Jun each get a key, Robert and Justin realize that they have been nominated, as they feared. Erika tells them they are both a “huge threat” in the game, and says: “I’m here to break up alliances.” After the ceremony, Jee says that he is “feeling regret” for betraying his allies. Robert says that his ex, Erica, is “being the bitch she can be,” but Erika says that she just wants “to win $500,000.” Justin, who has been acknowledged as a threat for several weeks, says that he is “not throwing in the towel yet.” But will the Three Stooges be able to survive this setback?
