PRE-NOMINATION CAMPAIGNING
It's that time again! The time when each HouseGuest takes turns pleading their case to whomever holds the power, in this case, Jee. Erika is first up, and she tells him that she thinks he is "playing a great game," but flattery gets her nowhere. Jee tells her that she and Jack are a threat, and adds that he's waiting for the "twist" in the game to be revealed before he makes any decisions. Erika's partner Jack is next to enter the HoH Room, and he reminds Jee that he was "never a target," of the Jack/Erika alliance. Jack tells him that he would like to see the final four be Jee, Jun, Erika and Jack, implying that Robert and Alison should be the next two out. Jee later says that he "couldn't believe" that Jack was suggesting he nominate his closest ally Robert for eviction.
Jee's ex Jun is in next, and she tries to get the scoop on who he's nominating, and Jee admits that he wants to "break up" the Jack/Erika alliance. Jun, however, has a different idea, and suggests that Alison should be the next to go. She's quick to add, however, that she will do whatever Jee wants her to do, and Jee tells her he trusts her. But will a twist in the game affect his nomination strategy?
PEANUT BUTTER BRIBES, AND JELLY NEGOTIATIONS
Host Julie Chen prepares the HouseGuests for what she calls a "curve ball" in the BIG BROTHER game. She reveals that this week, the HouseGuests will compete for the Power of Veto before the nominations are made, but the winner will not be announced until after the nomination ceremony. She instructs each of the roommates to go to separate rooms, and tells them they cannot talk to each other, make hand signals, or communicate with each other in any way.
One at a time, the HouseGuests enter the Diary Room to talk to Julie. Julie offers the Power of Veto to each of the HouseGuests, separately-but there's a catch. If you accept the Power of Veto, the other HouseGuests can only eat Peanut Butter and Jelly for the rest of the game (about a month), while you continue to eat whatever you want. Knowing the effects of the PB&J diet on the mood of the House, each HouseGuest declines Julie's offer.
Julie then offers a second deal to each HouseGuests: in exchange for the Power of Veto, the other HouseGuests will be on the PB&J diet for two weeks. This offer isn't rejected as quickly as the first, as the HouseGuests weight their options and the importance of the POV in the game. Eventually, each HouseGuest declines Julie's second bribe.
Julie makes her final offer: the Power of Veto in exchange for a PB&J diet for one week. Jun, Alison, Robert, Jack and Erika once again decline, but Head of Household Jee accepts Julie's enticing offer, winning the Power of Veto.
MUCH ADO ABOUT PB&J
After the negotiations are over, Julie announces to the HouseGuests that one or more people accepted an offer, but the identity and the terms of the deal won't be revealed until after the nomination ceremony. Two-time PB&J sufferer Robert is "pissed off," and lets off some steam in the back yard. Jee talks to Robert, and Robert tells him he knows it's "sneaky" Jun who took the offer. Robert, who has not fared well during his two previous weeks on PB&J, tells Jee he would rather be evicted than eat Peanut Butter and Jelly again. But while they talk outside, Ali, Jack, Erika and Jun use their finely honed skills of deduction to conclude that Jee is the bribe acceptor, and Jun wonders aloud why Jee would think he need the POV, since he's the current Head of Household.
Alison heads outside to talk to Robert and Jee, and Jee admits to the two of them that he accepted the offer-but only for one week of PB&J. Rob is furious at Jee, until they realize that he is the only one who took the offer, thereby winning the Power of Veto for the Dream Team. Jee next admits his guilt to the rest of the HouseGuests, who are not happy with him, and are hesitant to accept his apology. Jun says that "Jee screwed himself" by making the rest of the House suffer, and Erika, who has grown quite skinny during her stay in the House, says that Jee is now a "target."
Who will Jee nominate for eviction? And will the HouseGuests forgive him for accepting the bribe?
