Drew goes first and seems to be rocking the competition, sprinting around the yard. But, just as he gets to the end, he finds he has not connected the plugs in the correct order. He flips the switch, and it buzzes that he's got it wrong. He moves some cords, tries again, still wrong. And again. And again. And again. Finally, he remembers that he won a Veto competition, and that closes the circuit. He flips the switch, and the boxes light.
Diane goes next and seems to be doing very well, but she too trips up on the week that Drew won. Cowboy is amped and ready to go. He's talking to himself and calling out names as he goes. When he makes a mistake, he chides himself and apologizes aloud. When he's plugging Karen in he says, "Karen, here I come." As he gets ready to flip the switch, he shouts out, "C'mon baby let's rock and roll." And boom--let there be light.
Nakomis is next and doesn't quite knock it out of the park the way she needed to. Drew reveals the times after everyone has had their turn, and his time of 14 minutes and 27 seconds gets nothing but laughs. Diane does admirably with her 4:14, while Cowboy crushes it with a final time of 2:13. Nakomis is a distant third with 6:13.
NAKOMIS GOES NUCLEAR
All the power now rests in Cowboy's hands. Nakomis pulls Cowboy outside to have a chat following the Veto competition. He tells her straight up that he, Drew and Diane have an agreement. She is floored, but tries to act like she wasn't surprised. She says to him that if he keeps her, she will take him to the final two. On the other hand, Drew will take Diane and Diane will take Drew. She tells him she promised Scott and Jase she would take him to the final two. She tells him blood is thicker than water. She tells him whatever she thinks he needs to hear.
Later on Cowboy leaves and Diane joins Nakomis who seems kind of sullen. After a bit, Cowboy rejoins them and then the waterworks begin. Nakomis feels that she has helped everyone in the House get to where they are now. Nakomis begins to yell and reaches a point of hysteria as Cowboy seeks to comfort her. An upset Diane goes into the House. Diane is convinced this performance will send her packing, though Drew does not believe this.
Just to be sure, Diane sits down with Cowboy the next day and tells him she would take him over Drew if it came down to it. Cowboy wants Diane to promise this, and when she does, they cement their promise with the most powerful bond in the BIG BROTHER House--the pinky swear.
