Maggie, April & Ivette

How could Janelle win this game?

What's in store for James?

(Un)civil war in the BB house

Jennifer's HoH, and Kaysar's back in the game. What's next?

Michael, Eric or Kaysar?

Sovereign Six vs. Cappy Club

How will Kaysar being HoH change the relationships in the house?

How are the "secret" pairs affecting the dynamic in the BB house?

What is the best way to proceed when first moving into the BB house?

Also...Ivette and her:

I'm about to get Latin on his a&s
I'm about to get ghetto on his a&s
I'm about to get Cuban on his a&s

Yeah...way to go...is that like, reverse racism? I learned the hard way not to ever go there...hope she learns it too.

Snappy Cappy is not only being baited by Michael the Molestor (yeah right, get a grip ladies of BB6), but the entire house! There's a fine line between merely instigating and flat=out baiting...I believe there should be a re-read of the contracts?

Maggie will stick by Eric...she's still defending him...although i'm impressed that she had the guts to get out "you're both wrong" while intervening between Michael and Eric that evening.

Um...yeah, and Ashlea who? My...this game suddenly has taken a turn for drama...the house seems to be a ticking time-bomb...who ever will clean it up?!

Eric is aflame with self importance, power, and tantrums. A curious menu for a fireman, a persona in stark contrast to the accomplished and charismatic fireman Tom, latest Survivor winner. Both make great TV. Eric is self destructing, having been baited by the severely immature Michael, fueling backyard fireworks that sent the House to isolated venues to be spanked by Big Brother. Kaysar, Michael's secret partner, refused to partner with him in the veto competition, a move surely indicative of things to come with the other cabals. Before long, Maggie will be saying: "Eric who?" Meanwhile, Kaysar, the QUIET MAN, came out of his lawn chair to menace the combative Ivette, proving that children need adult supervision at night in L.A.

Hello to everyone! I just finished watching Tuesday’s show on my TiVo (the best way to watch T.V.) and what perfect timing for my first post. Wow, this Eric guy is unbelievable! Mr. Control-freak needs to grab a hold of himself! Anyways, here are my general thoughts. I think the houseguests have an easy trip to the jury. With so many people having targets on their backs (Eric, Rachel, Ivette, Michael) you’re guaranteed to make it past the first few weeks. Original pick for this year’s winner – Sarah. Favorites for the end – Sarah, James & Jennifer. Jennifer who? Exactly. Big Brother is all about how you deal with “power.” We’ve had two HOH’s that have let the power go to their heads. It’s only a matter of time for the both of them. Kaysar will make it far, I have nothing but respect for him. He seems to really know how to play the game. Moving on, you guys know me, I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. However, if there is a pair I hope goes down and goes down hard, please make it Eric and Maggie. I can’t stand how they are playing the game. That is all for now. Take care everyone!

Jeeee-sus! Eric (I refuse to call him 'Cappy'), you are the first reality tv personality to make me gag on caramel popcorn. Thank God my roommate was here to do the Heimlich. His pompous arrogance and self appointed role as house representative are getting him nowhere fast. He, not Michael, makes people uncomfortable and those that he thinks are on his side are secretly waiting for the moment when they can TAKE HIM OUT..mark my words. I LOVE that they are trying to scapegoat Michael with 'sexual harrasment' charges. If he had fondled someone, you KNOW we would have seen it (hello ratings)..the only person getting fondled by Michael seems to be Janelle (hello live feeds). And that, my friends, is a bed I would willingly hop into...mmmmkay?!?!? (Of course, only after I had finished saying my afternoon prayers with KayKay.) And speaking of Janelle, LOVE HER. She is intense, intelligent, and bears a striking resemblance to Cameron Diaz at certain angles. Now I am trying not to say anything too negative about anyone but, Ivette, girrrrrl, you are walking a thin line.

Scott is right to focus on James. He's a gamer. I agree with Will that Janelle shows promise. With Ashlea gone, Janelle can swing any way she likes. Like Jun, I kept coming back to Maggie, the calm eye in Eric's storm. Maggie will go far, but won't win the million because her partner Eric will not be around to take second. As Karen says, partners provide a certain comfort level. However, the only alliance in Big Brother history with a no-betrayal guarantee was the twins in BB5. Karen's right, they had a huge advantage in comfort and trust. Alas, the next tides took them to Mexico. Life is unfair and full of peanut butter.

Oh no you DIDN'T Scott. Oh no you DIDN'T just compare me to Ms. Chen. Hey, I signed a contract saying I wouldn't foul-mouth any "key personnel" so I'll leave it at that.

P-MAN, can you help me?!?

Damn, you all have to much time on ur hands! seems like i missed out on a lot of boring comments! hahahaa..Im just a meathead so i dont know. Anyways The secret pairs are def affecting the dynamics of the house. Imagine going in there with ur best friend and having to stay away! Hands off! And in that damn house thats filled with crazys like me you need someone u can trust! Trust is key! You are forced with holding back emotion as well as not spilling the beans! Its almost like having to live in the house with Karen. Freaking NUTS! So theres my simple answer. Oh and by the way ERIC is my boy but he is sooo screwed. James was my pick to win it and hes proving to be the QUIET STORM of BB6. Jun ur pic looks hot and kinda like Julie Chen. Will i love you! And Jack i might need some FBI agents soon. Im planning on a Covert mission to take over the BB house because dammit they need someone to make the show fun and INTERESTING. Be Savage all.

not only Young Republicans...but CUTE Young Republicans...yummmmm, love them boys. When's the Convention coming to NY again?!?!

Yeah...I liked Ivette and now don't as much...didin't like Janelle but do now. Interesting. Eric's a fool..a firefighting fool, but a fool nonetheless. AND the tides do turn quite often, but not big enough or soon enough to save either Michael or Janelle I think.

And Karen...what if you didn't sell someone down the river exactly...what if you just pushed them off the bank a bit with your big toe and said "Hey...I'll see you on the outside!" ??? :)

Will

Also, can I get a new picture please?!? I look like the Vice President of Young Republicans...obviously not me!

Work, Jun! You are way too right..Ivette is riding the nerves that haven't been accessed since I saw Jase's yellow pit stains creep down the side of my vintage pink shirt. Ivette will regret her attempted reign of terror. In the Big Brother house, the only thing worse than a lap dog is a lap dog with a mouth. I've watched the live feeds a bit, and her target grows bigger by the moment. Over the last few days, Janelle has really grown on me. I like the underdog alliance she is building with Michael and Kay...I'm crossing my fingers that the tides turn and they come into power next week! And of course I still love my April!

Jun

Okay...so in the case of Eric and Maggie...if they hadn't blown up their own spots in the HOH room hug/cry session, Maggie would be in an IDEAL spot. She has an ally that is going to take a lot of heat in the coming days/weeks, which will ensure that she gets to lay back and remain safe. Beau and Ivette should split up a bit in whose a&s their kissing...whatever will they do once Eric is no longer HOH?!

Karen
7/16/05 4:10 pm
Also, a "perk" that came along with winning the coveted HOH was receiving something from home? photos, pillows, hell, even if it was lint, as long as it smelled like home it would make us jump for joy.! I feel hat this new "buddy" system thing will add a extraordinary comfort level to the BB6 house. Now the focus can purely be strategic. But, one might even wind up being a little over cautious not wanting to stick their neck out in order to save their partner. The last thing I would want to do is sell someone down the river that I may actually have to see again on the outside!

Hi guys! I AGREE WITH WILL!!! In the BB5 house feeling isolated and removed from EVERYTHING familiar was the only thing that "most" of us had in common. When the "twin" twist was finally revealed to all of is, I can definitely say I felt it was an advantage for them. Not only did they have that "reminder" of home, they had no trust issues to contend with. Blood is thicker than water! ! All of the added emotional baggage that came along with being severed from everything I knew really was a distraction for me. Hell, even that beautiful Sequester House on the beach would have been more fun had I had someone from my home life to share it with.

Jack
7/16/05 3:41 pm
So I say unto you, having a partner in BB6 may be an advantage to some, or, as Jun pointed out, may be a drag to others. Can anyone doubt that Maggie will have to jettison Eric to stay alive? Or that James may see advantage in having more women on his side than just Sarah?

Jack
7/16/05 3:41 pm
Winston, I first thought that having an ex in BB4 was a disadvantage, that old hurts and pettiness would surface straight off and distract. I was wrong! Jun, in a covert preview of how smart and savvy she was, quickly co-opted Jee as an ally, shielded him, manipulated him, slung Korean sound bites his way when they were alone, all the while demonizing him with profanity in public, which he reciprocated. Alison secretly grabbed hold of her ex, Justin, straight off and used him to lubricate her slide into the finals. Erika blasted Robert with cuss and venom, retched at the sight of him, then brilliantly neutralized him with friendship later when it was vital to have him aboard. Meanwhile, Dana, Nathan, and I were all smiles at first, not an ex in sight. Need I remind everyone that Dana, Nathan, and I were evicted into the jury pool 1, 2, & 4 respectively?

Winston
7/16/05 2:06 pm
But Jun, Jee was in the BB4 house with you for a time. Granted, he's an ex, but you two seemed to get on quite well. Wasn't that at least somewhat comforting for you, or did having him there make it more difficult for you? And Jack, you didn't have an ex in there with you. Did that put you at an advantage?

Jun
7/15/05 9:44 pm
Besides...Skinner's rats had it easy...we houseguests have to do more than push a button for food...rats do love their peanut butter though!

Jun
7/15/05 9:39 pm
Okay...I agree with you Will on who you think Winston's alias is :)...he always did know the game...

Let me just say if I had a best friend/acquaintance in the house with me it would have brought enough comfort to me to spend even more time if I had to. The worst aspect of the experience IS feeling all alone, regardless of being watched 24 hours and having people around you every second of the day. HOWEVER, I think it would have added some stress knowing you had to truly watch two backs instead of just my own.

Eric will definitely go for the "females" he finds threatening...I want Rachel to go up for her power tripping antics last week. I think Sarah will end up going up too just because of Eric's paranoia. Poor Sarah...afraid that her James' head will twirl a la Exorcist because of the ladies in the house...that's GOT to be tough. She should let it go and do some flirting of her own though...get Michael and Kaysar on her side...

Will
7/14/05 11:06 pm
And I totally have a Winston hypothesis...Don, is that you??

Will
7/14/05 11:03 pm
The fact that they are playing with a partner actually pisses me off..in the same way that we were all pissed that Adria and Nat never understood that they were at an advantage simply because they had the support of familiarity. Every one of these bloggers will agree that you will never know the true BB experience unless you are totally isolated from EVERYTHING you know. Having a loved one there should allow them to focus ENTIRELY on gaming strategy and not be distracted by the overwhelming pangs of isolation that all the rest of us have been made to feel. If Janelle is smart, she will try and shift the house focus into breaking up the pairs while keeping herself out of the spotlight. Jack is SO RIGHT about Eric needing to stop trying to play up his occupation for the sake of sympathy! Annoying! Who do we think Eric will nominate? The boys, Maggie, and Ivette should be safe...perhaps Jennifer? Rachel? Please, Eric, anybody but April!

Okay, so many thoughts, so little space. I am OVERCOME with emotions after watching tonight's episode. First and formost, I am wiping the sweat off of my wrinkle free brow. KAYSAR IS SAFE!! Yeah! Now if I could just convince him to pray in his underwear, we'd be sailing straight (well, maybe not so straight). Second, I ADORE April. ALthough I haven't caught as much of the live feeds as I would wish, she seems to be playing a really tight game. From what I can tell, she has done a nice job of making nice with both girls and guys alike. Love the hair, love the live show outfit, love the voice...love her almost as much as Kaysar. Work, April, Work!

As we've just seen, some of these "secrets" are not so secret after all. I like the idea of the pairs, because as Nakomis has pointed out, being teamed up doesn't necessarily work to a HouseGuest's advantage. I'm interested in the James-Sarah duo because their shiny new relationship is being tested in the Skinner box that is the BB house. Living together can be a challenge in the best of situations, but trapped in a house 24/7, with the whole world watching? Yikes.
