SOMETHING FISHY'S GOING ON
As the sun edges across the wall-framed sky above the BIG BROTHER backyard, Mike and Eric take seats at the table. Michael takes the high road, requesting an accord between the two, to clear the air, and to maintain calm in the house for the next few days. He conveys this sentiment through his brilliant grasp of the modern American vernacular, "We're cool?"
"We're cool," comes Eric's equally eloquent response. Eric apologizes to Michael if he had interpreted his behavior as "aggressive in (any) sense."
Rachel offers that perhaps Mike got a raw deal from the house. Even Eric admits having been caught up in the heat of battle to destroy Mike, perhaps overlooking the greater threat in Janelle. In a gym gossip session, Eric, Maggie and April ponder Janelle's threat and consider voting to oust her instead of Mike.
James pulls an impromptu hot tub public opinion poll to reaffirm Mike as the eviction favorite. He runs through Janelle's strengths, but his final words reinforce the true vote to be cast: "Michael is more dangerous to our sanity." Howie reassures Janelle that although opinions change, she is safe for now.
Julie Chen listens as the housemates recount how house-life has changed in the last week. Kaysar feels people have grown up a little more, while Ivette admits she is learning to control her mouth to avoid conflict.
As the vote looms, James worries about Janelle's power to manipulate as "she has no self-respect and will do anything to win." Sarah looks to Janelle to shoulder some of her own impending dirty work, while Howie's mind is on a future hook-up with the hot blonde.
