HOUSE JESTER IS THE WISE FOOL
Recapping Michael's departure reminds us of the less-than-gracious behavior of Ivette and Eric, who were happy to see the back of him. Janelle promises to avenge Michael's betrayal later in the game, but that doesn't stop her from falling into a funk over the departure of her only BIG BROTHER allies. Smoking-buddy April gushes reassuringly, in true grade-school fashion, "I've always liked you." Still in teenager mode, April then confides in the Diary Room, "I like Janelle, but I don't like Jan. I just don't like her in this game!" Seen as more counterfeit than bona fide in her conversations, appearance, alliances and hair color, April leaves Janelle, among others, shaking their heads. "She's not a very good liar," observes Janelle.
The reactions to Kaysar's HoH win ranged from Janelle wanting to do cartwheels in her stilettos to Ivette drowning her sorrows in ice water. Rachel seems earnestly excited that Kaysar won as she wants to see the removal of a strong player in the house.
Kaysar, Janelle and Howie return to the Gold Room. Hugs and laughter are all around as they celebrate. "They thought they had this all mapped out too," Janelle whispers. Kaysar agrees, saying he's going to let them sweat it out for awhile before talking to everyone.
Howie gets serious as they discuss the people they would love to see evicted. Janelle points out that the tables have turned, and the power is now in Kaysar's hands. But House Jester Howie says to think strategically: rather than putting a pair on the block, split the household by nominating one of each alliance, effectively splitting the house and the pair alliances. Janelle suggests Maggie as everyone likes her and she's aligned with Eric and James, so putting her up would cause the biggest stir of all. What devious minds are at work this week!
Kaysar's HoH Room surprises include kosher meats and a hookah pipe. As everyone leaves the room, Janelle stays behind to talk. Kaysar points out that they should now pair up for safety. Kaysar confides in Janelle that he wants to create the biggest chain-reaction possible, pair up groups against each other and invoke all-out war. Alrighty!
