HOW YA LIKE THEM APPLES?
Puppetmaster Kaysar creates a revolution in the house with his strategy: "I knew that was going to flip this thing upside down." Eric's placement on the block provokes a wave of bitterness. What happened to "it's just a game?" Sarah asks as she tries to be nice and console the nominees. "From the beginning, Eric has said it's not personal…but he's just not living by his words."
Maggie wonders if everyone in the house was in on the bait-and-switch that blindsided Eric onto the block. Eric, always on the lookout for another opportunity to have someone look him in the eye and tell him the truth, confronts his future poison-pen pal, Ivette, about her involvement. Ivette, who has had her lips pursed all week, is outraged that he dares question her honesty. "I'm not going to switch sides just for the sake that one team might win."
The condemned hang by the pool to discuss their fate. Eric didn't see the ambush coming, while Maggie vows revenge on the evil-doers. "The game's not over," she reminds him. Up in the HoH room, the Sovereign Six discuss Maggie's threat. Howie reports that "Eric said taking (him) out of the game would be cutting off the tail; Maggie would be cutting off the head because she's the stronger player." James senses that Maggie will prioritize Sarah and him for eviction if she wins HoH. Maggie just has to keep Eric playing the game to shore up her own position in the house. "Play like you're staying," she instructs him. Whereas he's probably thinking, "To heck with the PB&J prohibition, break open the storeroom, guys! You really want my last meal to be PB&J?"
The HouseGuests begin their votes. April says that while Maggie is a strong player, Eric is a "wonderful" man. Jennifer's affection is held for Maggie, while Janelle complains that Eric is always crying and it's getting on her nerves. Sarah sighs that she's just so disappointed in Eric at the moment.
