THE TRUTH ABOUT US
In a "family" gathering, most of the Houseguests assemble to clear the air about their pairs. Laughter and smiles abound as friendships and alliances are revealed. April is amazed at James' ability to lie, and after hearing of Maggie's relationship with Eric, Ivette requests a tranquilizer. Howie hits a homer with his contemplations over the only four people in the house who don't come clean to being coupled up. "It's kinda weird you've got these five couples and you've got four wild cards…April and Jenn, Ivette and Beau didn't know each other. Yeah, right."
In an emotionally anorexic performance, Ivette tearlessly wails about the injustices of not being paired up in the house where others have the security of a secret alliance. Even though Ivette considers it an Oscar-worthy performance (sorry kid, not this year), she is upstaged by April, whose dramatic denial of knowing Jennifer manages to keep disbelieving HouseGuests at bay for another day. Jennifer convinces her to relent and confess to Kaysar in order to skulk into the Sovereign Six alliance. April takes the advice, and Jennifer shows some spunk as she smiles to James, "I barely know this bitch." That's some sorority spirit. April then tells Eric of her alliance, and Ivette finally spills about her friendship with Beau. The pieces fall into place as Eric finally realizes Ivette and Beau's rainbow connection. "Are you gay? You're both gay!"
Finally, we are privy to the voting confessions of the remaining HouseGuests. Howie is not sad to see the end of Eric's dictatorship rule, while Beau remains true to his pal, judging Eric's leadership abilities as strong and admirable. James lays it on the line with describing Eric as a cult leader. Ivette repositions herself to Maggie's camp, whereas Rachel is just plain honest when she smiles bluntly, "Look, bottom line is, I'm watching out for myself.
