SERPENT IN THE GARDEN OF EVIL


Kaysar and his cronies meet to discuss the looming vote. Maybe, he concedes, their team "needed something to humble them a little bit" to make them rethink their game.

Disguising her gossip-mongering as vote negotiations, April pulls Kaysar aside for a quiet chat. Her parley suddenly turns to a revelation of traitorous turncoat behavior by none other than one of Kaysar's trusted lieutenants. Ever the madam of mystery, April won't name the offender. Kaysar takes a guess: "Slowly but surely I started to realize it was James." This "snake," April reveals breathlessly, has been playing both sides with promises of nominating two of his own team, Rachel and Howie, should he win HoH. Waiting until dark to cross enemy lines, Kaysar delivers the news to Howie and Rachel. "That bothers me," Howie growls.

Maggie confirms James' serpentine shenanigans, granting the doomed Kaysar a parting gift: the assurance that his allies, Janelle and Howie, never betrayed him. Kaysar tells Mags he "would love to stay behind and make sure James leaves this house." Kaysar and Janelle writhe with helplessness at being unable to dispatch James from the house. "It's horrible we're on the block together," Janelle sighs.
