IVETTE VEXED BY AGGRAVATING APRIL
Ivette is getting nervous playing "pawn" for the eviction vote, especially since she can't tell whether there are wagons or sharks circling around her. "Nothing would shock me," she admits, suspecting that she has become the eviction target.
April muddies up, playing "dirty" by undermining her ally and turning the Sovereign Survivors' opinions against Ivette. In April's view, Ivette is not to be trusted, because of her frequent get-togethers with James. April is pushed to the limits of her southern sensibility, employing profanities during her rant about Ivette and James' interactions. "If ya don't trust him, why the hell are ya tellin' him everything?" She carps. Howie teeters on the edge of the April abyss, allowing her vexatious gossip to penetrate his Jedi force-field. "Maybe Ivette is evil…or joining James?" he contemplates.
They agree to not tell Maggie and her cronies about their suspicions of Ivette, and Rachel says she's going to talk to Jennifer. April reports that Jennifer is working out with Mags and "assumes she is not telling Maggie" anything. But then we go straight to Jennifer on the stepper, where she is spilling all to Mags. "Oh my God," Maggie sighs, unwittingly reaping what she sowed when she earlier planted the same doubt in April's mind about Ivette and James' relationship. But Maggie doesn't see it this way, instead laying blame with the Sovereign Survivors: "Apparently, Janelle, Howie and Rachel are trying to encourage Jen and April to pick off one of our own five."
Finding the sorority sisters sunning by the pool, Mags asks, "Am I missing the boat here on something really big?" "You talk," April wimps as Jennifer tells her she's still thinking. After a prolonged awkward hush, Mags presses the issue as the penny starts to drop. "Well, your silence tells me something," she comments grimly as she reaps what indeed she sowed.
The first votes are cast. Janelle doesn't really want to keep Ivette in the house, as she has been her number-one enemy from day one. April wants it to return to calm, which means nixing vociferous Ivette. Beau wants to keep his pair for an obvious million reasons, while all three houseguests consider Sarah a low-grade threat. Whom to evict? It seems it's a crap shoot for the HouseGuests.
