RACHEL RESCUED IN COASTER COMP
The Power of Veto Competition is a coaster-toss challenge. The object of the game is to throw five oversized coasters onto a multi-level circular platform divided into five rings. Each coaster bears a picture of one of the five evicted HouseGuests. Each of the five rings on the platform is numbered to correspond to the week that one of the HouseGuests was evicted. The aim is to toss each evictee's coaster onto the platform labeled with his or her eviction week. If none of the six competitors lands a coaster on the rings, no PoV is awarded. Rachel, teamed with Howie, immediately lands her first three throws correctly, allowing everyone to relax. Janelle, teamed with Kaysar, tries valiantly, while Jennifer and teammate April fail to inspire. Rachel's premier performance wins the PoV Competition with five points. Janelle worries about not having won the PoV: "things can change in a week, and people might want to get me out for some stupid reason." James hates his back-door position, complaining that "even Custer had a last stand."
CHICKS IN THE MIX
"Common sense tells me I am going up," James sighs as he considers his position. Ivette ramps up her defense of James, insisting he is now so weak that they can use him to the Powder-Puff Friendship advantage. "It is so dangerous to keep Kaysar in this game," Ivette argues emphatically, "He is the two-headed snake." As the "girls" start their contemplations, Mags declares her desire to kick Kaysar out, resenting the fact he was ever returned by America's Choice and snarling, "Damn you, America!" Meanwhile, Kaysar, Rachel and Howie discuss worst-case scenarios. No matter what happens, they agree that "next week, (they will) terrorize them!" After one-on-one meetings with her "girls," Jen ponders her position.
