Kaysar confronts Jen, asking for her reassurance, and in a bare-faced lie, she gives it to him, admitting, "If Kaysar wanted his plan to go through, he should have kept his finger on that button." The Veto Ceremony is called, and as expected, Rachel removes herself from the block. Jen smugly replaces Rachel with Kaysar. As he stands, Kaysar sighs, "That's what I expected." James is stunned, having half-stood as Jen announced her replacement choice. He is left alone in disbelief that he once again did a Houdini and dodged the executioner's aim. "If I win HoH, I'm going to tell that bitch (Jennifer) to pack her bags," Janelle warns.

The house is divided into a détente as tenuous as Cold-War US/Soviet relations. The bloodletting begins in earnest as the two rival alliances face off in a week of bitter feuds and hostility.
