GOAL FOR IT, GUYS!
The Veto competition is called. With their survival on the line, reviled former HoH Jen and power-player Maggie choose their partners carefully. Janelle chooses Howie, Jennifer teams with competition-novice April, and Maggie pairs with Ivette. The HouseGuests get to relieve some tension in a mini-hockey game, which gets a not-so-gleeful welcome from Howie. In a race against the clock, the players have to shoot a puck into each of six goals in the shortest time. Howie starts the competition, followed by April. In a fitting show of skill and determination, April proudly beats nemesis Howie's time. The Powder Puff gang put on a powerhouse performance to push Janelle to the wire, almost capturing the castle with Jen's superior stick-handling skills. But Janelle, proud Minnesotan that she is, wins the competition in a time that leaves her housemates steaming.
In a kitchen huddle following the game, the Powder Puffs discuss their options. April tells the group that they should all vote for Jen to stay, indifferent to the fact that Puff-leader Maggie, also nominated for eviction, is sitting right next to her. Mags gets a bit miffed at what she sees as April's blatant disregard for her feelings, but April can't understand what she said wrong.
