8/28/05 5:07 pm So I had some catching up to do with my BB, but now I’m all up to date, and I’m feeling a little down and out about the game. Especially now that April of all houseguests is HOH. I’m STILL bummed about Kaysar’s eviction. I’m amazed at how this year’s game is being played so personally and it is painful watching my team fall apart at the seams. It seems like every time something good happens, “BAM!” (as Howie would say), the team with almost as many names as broken promises it has made, continues to succeed. At this point, if someone from the “Girl Scout” group (my favorite nickname thanks to James) wins the game, I’ll happiest if it’s Beau. He seems to be the only one who has been able to take the power of HOH with grace and play strategically.
On the other side of the coin, “GO HOWIE”, “GO JANELLE” AND EVEN “GO ALL THE WAY JAMES!” It would truly be a remarkable feat to see James make it to the end. Every houseguest says it, and yet it is still SOOO true, the game can change in a SECOND. So I still have faith! Come on BB, throw me back in for a few weeks so I can help out my team and then once they get to the end, I’ll walk out the doors so they can WIN!! |

8/27/05 6:27 pm James conjures memories of Will, emperor of BB2. Both are cunning, devious, and lie to great effect, fully comprehending that the only rule about Big Brother is that there are NO rules. James has been caught in many lies, while most of Will's distortions went unseen except in the DR, where he excelled, the best ever. Although Will was on the block numerous times, he was a pawn, an unthreatening presence until it was too late to stop him. James is a big target, yet survives. He may end up being one of a kind. |

8/27/05 6:24 pm James' escapes and treacheries are the cat's meow in Big Brother. He's playing both sides, and both sides know they're being played. He's taken us down a very entertaining path, and as dark as he is, he's far preferable as a winner to anyone in the whiney, moody Cappy Town. James MUST take Janelle or Howie into the finals. The jury pool will be contaminated with Cappies who will flock to James against a Sovereign in the final vote. On the way to the promise land, James must hide behind Ivette to take out April or Maggie. Come on James, get out of Veto-ville and win HOH. (I personally prefer Janelle, but she's got no chance at victory. Janelle will soar in post BB6. America loves her.) |

8/26/05 2:54 pm Although it looks like another week of giggly pajama parties and puzzling, wistful yearnings for Cappy, it's also a turning point for James. Follower Ivette will be fun to watch, too, as she and partner/fellow follower Beau may have to decide once and for all about James. I, for one, will be glued to the 24/7 feed this weekend, especially since we won't be getting a Saturday show. |
