FOURTH TIME'S A CHARM?
The HouseGuests are on edge as James faces yet another eviction coup attempt. On the block with James, Howie is initially assured his safety, but he knows too well how quickly the tide turns in the BIG BROTHER 6 house. Surprised when Janelle is taken off the block, James admits to Ivette that he had a fighting chance against Janelle, but Howie is another matter. James loses his sense of humor after being "back-doored," drawing Ivette into a consolation cuddle. Maggie observes coolly from a distance. Once in private, James switches on his powers of persuasion, cajoling Ivette to convince pals Mags and Beau to vote for him to stay.
Sallying forth on her crusade to save James, Ivette pulls Mags aside for a tête-à-tête, arguing that James "is good company," and therefore they should keep him. Having been down this road before with Ivette, Mags listens, but is not convinced. Changing tack, James starts to campaign out in the open. The housemates are entertaining themselves in the kitchen when Ivette shushes them from upstairs. Howie, she complains, is too loud, and she is trying to nap. Howie makes a good point as he remarks, "Excuse me for being too loud at 3 o'clock in the afternoon!" Ever on the lookout for a self-serving opportunity, James switches gear, reviewing reasons to evict Howie over him. "If I can get Ivette and Beau to vote for me, and I can convince Janelle that she and I are a lot stronger than she and Howie," says James, he thinks he has a shot at survival.
