Julie announces part one of the three-part HoH Competition. Even though Boogie is the outgoing HoH, he is still eligible to play. The name of the game is Mount HoH. Each HouseGuest has to climb onto one side of the volcano, turn around and face forward with their back to the volcano. Once there, they have to grab hold of a large key above them. The aim of the game is to remain on the volcano, holding onto the key with both hands, without letting their feet or their keys touch the mat below them. The last person left on the volcano automatically advances to the final round of the three-part competition.

Mere moments after the start, Boogie jumps off the volcano, yelling, "Remember Richard Hatch? You have to do it. You have to take me." In an outrageous show of cockiness, Mike keeps smiling, "You have to take me. You can't take each other." Still seething over Will's eviction, Mike struts around the backyard as the gals hold on. Erika advises Janelle to not listen to Boogie as he played them too much to give him a shot at the finals. The endurance competition starts as the girls gut it out. Janelle was so shocked by Boogie's actions that she took one of her hands off her key for a moment, and after reviewing the tape, Julie announces that Janelle has been eliminated, leaving Erika as winner of round one.

Erika and Janelle have a new pact, but will Erika remain true to her word with the blonde bombshell or will she fall back under the spell of "Lance Showmance" Boogie? At this point, anyone can win the final HoH Competition. Who will rise to be the ultimate HoH?
