Season 6: Episode 14
Season 6: Episode 14: You May Now Kill the Bride

When bride, Susan Alston, is shot and killed during her wedding to famous baseball player Greg Tanner everyone from the bodyguard to the groom's stripper sitting in the front row is a suspect. DNA under the victims fingernails lead them to the gentleman?s club where the wedding party went to the night before. We learn more about stripper Kelly Chapman, a long time client of Greg's, who gave Susan a lap dance while the men watched. Apparently Kelly and Greg had a long relationship where he felt comfortable enough for her to take photos of him posing in lingerie and fishnet stockings. Once Kelly got wind that Greg was going to stop seeing her she blackmailed him with the photos in exchange for more money. Calleigh and Delko discover that the murder weapon was assembled to the underside of the limo and was remotely controlled via a wireless device. While re-enacting the crime, Calleigh wears the veil that the bride wore, they not only discover that the diamond veil was a fake, but also that the intended target was Kelly who was sitting in the front row. Someone had exchanged the real diamond veil (which is heavier than cubic zirconium) for a fake veil which while billowing in the wind altered the course of the bullet. In the end Horatio and his team narrow down all suspects to Greg?s best man (also a ball player) who would do anything to protect the legacy that once was.
