HANK'S DATE: UP ON THE ROOF
Hank, the options trader from Chicago, couldn't wait for his family to meet Lisa and to see if they felt as strongly about Lisa as he did. The big meeting took place in a bar, where Hank announced to all gathered that "Lisa and I are your bartenders tonight." As the drinks and conversation flowed, one of Hank's friends, Kim, told Lisa that she and Hank were "the real deal." Lisa assured her she felt the same way: "Everything [with Hank] feels so right." The two then headed back to Hank's home, where Hank opened up further when he showed Lisa pictures of his deceased parents. Hank's Aunt Mary grilled Lisa about her bathroom habits: "Do you squeeze your toothpaste from the bottom or the top?" After clearly enjoying themselves with his family, Hank and Lisa headed up to the roof where the festivities continued, though on a much more intimate level. As they cuddled and kissed, Hank softly confessed, "I want to take all your clothes off. I want to make love to you."

Laura clearly agreed with Hank's assessment of the date, telling him, "When I see the two of you together, there's a level of energy and excitement that's second to none." Kimberly acknowledged that the two were a good fit, but did have one question regarding the previous week's house reality segment: "Why last week did the other guys refer to your Jekyll and Hyde character?"

Hank didn't hesitate in his response, explaining, "I clearly like Lisa, [but] I don't clearly like a couple of guys in the house." For her part, Lisa respected Hank's honesty, explaining, "If you were the same personality all the time, I'd be a little freaked out." She went on to say how well she thought she fit with Hank and his family.

ROBERT'S DATE: WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS FRIENDS
Robert, the fitness model from Los Angeles, sounded hurt explaining his feelings about Lisa and his family: "She don't want to have me in her family, so why should I care about having her in my family?" In lieu of bringing Lisa to Austria, Robert brought Lisa to the house of his best friend, Roland, where he also introduced her to his friends Chris and Debra. There, Lisa quickly found herself on the defensive about the post-date commentary Robert had received from her and her friends. She stood up to Debra, telling her and Robert, "I've never not been respectful to [Robert] at all." The discussion only grew more heated from there as Robert continued to criticize Lisa for her treatment of him. Finally, Chris apologized to Lisa: "He's a bumbling idiot right now." Robert later admitted that Lisa was the only woman he'd ever acted this way around. With a little help from his friends, things later calmed down between Robert and Lisa.

Laura admitted that she appreciated Robert's efforts to clear things up with Lisa, but called them "a little too little, a little too late." Kimberly noted that Robert had extremely supportive friends, but concluded, "I think you [and Lisa] should work on just being friends."

When it came time for his response, Robert got a lot of audience applause when he confessed, "I'm not here because of the show. I'm here because I want to win Lisa's heart." Lisa called their date "phenomenal. It completely cut the ice with us." She added, to more audience applause, that she could tell Robert was on the show because of her.
( Robert's Date )

DOMINIC'S DATE: LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Next up was Dominic, the bartender and college graduate, who explained the importance for him of Lisa meeting his family this way: "If I do marry Lisa, part of me is my family. You don't get just me, you get everybody." And there were plenty of "everybodies" for Lisa to meet, including Dominic's Aunt Mary Beth, who got a big hug from her nephew (and a big laugh from Lisa) when she told Lisa, "I just wish age wouldn't be such an issue." Lisa also scored big points with Dominic's mother, Joan, who had only positive words to say after meeting her: "I think Lisa would fit in very well with our family." After dinner, Lisa and Dominic reclined on a porch swing, where she told him how much she loved his family and was looking forward to him meeting hers. As the date came to an end, Dominic expressed the hope that "Lisa realized how much love was in the air with my family."

Laura claimed Dominic's age was not a factor, but had a message for Mary Beth nonetheless when she told Dominic, "You believe you're ready [for marriage]. Trust me: you're not." Kimberly agreed, making a plea to America: "Don't vote for him. Set him free!"

But Dominic continued to claim he was ready: "I think Lisa and I make a great couple, and I can't wait for the next date." Lisa elaborated on Laura's point, explaining what most concerned her: "It's not your age; it's your readiness for marriage."

JOE'S DATE: MY BIG FAT ITALIAN WEDDING
Like Dominic, Joe, the real estate developer, had a huge family for Lisa to meet back in his hometown of Elmwood Park, Illinois. Before their date Joe took Lisa to the home he was currently working on, a home which Joe hoped "could potentially be our future home." When he brought Lisa into the house, he asked for her opinions on how she'd remodel it, strongly hinting that she could have a big hand in how the house ended up looking. And then came the time to meet the family, an experience even Joe called "overwhelming," as the two sat eating dinner surrounded by Joe's enormous family. Joe's sister Giovanna also admitted that there were "an awful lot of Italians in one room." But Lisa didn't seem phased, even when Giovanna told her that Joe was "a spolied, rotten kid" when they were growing up. Joe response, "In the Italian house, the guy has reign," was met with derisive giggles from his two sisters. But watching Lisa fall into the embrace of his family was no laughing matter for Joe: "I think it was totally obvious that Lisa won my family over."

Laura described Lisa's date with Joe's family as, "'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' meets 'The Godfather.'" She did have one concern, though: "I wonder if Lisa's temperament is right for your family." Kimberly, it turned out, had another concern, which she laid on the table in her typically straightforward manner: "I think that you may be in this to win. I think the competition may be a little bit more important to you than Lisa."

Once again, Joe scored big points with the audience as he replied simply, "Competition? Of course it's competition. I mean, look at this girl!" Lisa had no doubts about Joe's readiness for marriage, but she shared Kimberly's concern about his competitive instincts: "[Kimberly] wants to make sure, as do I, that you're not here to win a prize, you're here to win your future wife."

TO LIVE AND LOVE ANOTHER DAY
The dates over, Brian explained how the voting works, in order for America to decide which of the remaining six guys should stay on CUPID--and in Lisa's life--and which one should go. But first, Laura and Kimberly shared their feelings, with Laura picking Dominic this week ("It's for your own good," she told him), and Kimberly singling out Robert. But despite Laura's and Kimberly's opinions, the fates of the guys and Lisa are ultimately in the hands of the viewing audience. So tune in next Tuesday at 9 pm ET/PT to find out who Lisa--and America--will say goodbye to, and which five Suitors will live on to love another day.
