Season 1: Episode 18: Medea
Hood gets inadvertently drawn into a case when a woman accuses an FBI Deputy Director of having fathered a child with her. She escapes psychiatric care and sets a bomb off at the Deputy Director's vacation home, nearly killing his family. Hood determines that she did give birth recently, though there's no record of the birth. He learns from her that she had no intention of trying to kill anyone, she just wanted to destroy the place she met the Deputy Director. She got the family out, but then kidnaps Rachel hoping to get Hood to help her. Hood realizes she's being "gaslighted", but with her fragile sense of reality, she must be deftly handled in order to save Rachel. With Felix's help, he manages to locate her child, prove the Deputy Director was lying and rescue Rachel.
