A physician from New York City, David grew up in Camden, New Jersey, in a very tight-knit Jewish family. He was the youngest of two, his sister being ten years older.
David was the first in his family to graduate from college, having attended Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Penn. He went on to receive a medical degree from Temple University before attending Baruch College where he earned his Masters in Business Administration. However, his passion for creative writing allowed him to use this skill as a medical educator. He is currently president and co-founder of TheDoctorsChannel.com, a website he describes as an educational tool for doctors.
Before Elvis came into David’s life two years ago, David was your typical Upper-East side New York doctor who enjoyed trendy restaurants and the hottest Broadway shows. That quickly changed the day Elvis, his very first dog, came into his life. David obtained Elvis from a breeder in Connecticut that was recommended by a “Best in Show” judge from the U.K., and was instantly transformed into the proud father he is today. David will go to any extreme to spoil Elvis.
David recently spent $10,000 to give Elvis the best “Bark Mitzvah in town.” He invited one hundred guests, including Dr. Ruth, to come and join the festivities. He says it was a good reason to get together with friends and family.
David describes himself as a competitive, fun-loving adventure seeker and truly believes Elvis is just like him. David is currently single and lives in New York. His birth date is September 5, 1953.
ELVIS
Elvis is full of personality. He possesses a huge sense of curiosity and mischief. David describes Elvis as perky, intelligent, happy, energetic and social. He enjoys taking long walks through Central Park, morning jogs and hanging out with David on the sofa after accompanying him to work all week. Elvis recently won first place at the St. Michaels Maryland Terrier Races.
