Dan Futterman, who is known for his role in the critically acclaimed feature film "The Birdcage," which received a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast, also appeared in "Urbania," which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival. His additional feature credits include "Enough," "1999," "Shooting Fish," "The Fisher King" and "Breathing Room."
His television credits include guest-starring roles in the series "Will & Grace," "Homicide: Life on the Street," "Sex and the City," "Caroline in the City" and the movies "Thicker than Blood," "When Trumpets Fade" and "Class of '61."
Among his numerous stage credits are the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of "Angels in America," "The Lights" and "Dealer's Choice."
Futterman was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, and lives in Los Angeles and New York. His birth date is June 8.
