Do you think adults should listen more to kids? If so, why?
Of course. Adults should remember that they were kids too and kids have good ideas. I think sometimes a kid can make an adult think about things in a different way. Kids are smart and they are sometimes more creative.
Is it possible for a 9-year-old to make a better leader than a 14-year-old? How so, or why not?
Of course it's possible for a 9-year-old to make a better leader because some 9-year-olds are more mature than some 14-year-olds. Some 9 year olds could possibly have better ideas and thoughts on leadership that some 14-year-olds.
Should kids be allowed to vote?
Probably not. Because I think if kids were allowed to vote the parents would influence their decision too much. But if the decision was left entirely up to the kid I think they would make great choices.
Do you have any kid role models? If so, who?
Actually, I do. I have a friend that has had a lot of tragedy in her life and I get inspiration from her because she is so strong. She follows the beat of her own drum no matter what. She does not pay attention to all the latest trends or gossip, she does what she wants and I admire that. She's probably my closest friend.
What would you do if you won the lottery?
First of all I would buy a bigger house with a pool. Put some $$ away for school and, of course, most importantly, give a lot to local charities that involve kids.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
The answer to that question changes daily but let me give you some of my current ideas. A journalist, a writer, a singer, a pediatrician, a detective. Those are my thoughts for today, check back tomorrow, there could be a whole different list. One thing that usually remains is the journalist/reporter/writer.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That I am a worrier. I think I sometimes seem pretty carefree but under it all, I'm a worrier.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I will be 22 years old. I know I will still be in school, graduating from college and looking to further my education. I hope I am happy, healthy and grounded and still reaching for the stars. I will still be keeping in touch with all my Bonanza friends who are now spread across the world doing wonderful things to help make this world a little brighter. I will also be in the middle of planning a 10 year reunion for everyone to meet back in Bonanza City New Mexico, maybe we can have a 40 day reunion!
