Biography

Alex O'Loughlin's television credits include "The Shield" and the Australian miniseries "Mary Bryant." His film credits include "The Holiday" and "Oyster Farmer." He will soon be seen in upcoming films "August Rush," with Robin Williams and Terrance Howard, and "White Out," with Kate Beckinsale. Born in Canberra, Australia, O'Loughlin studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney. He currently resides in Los Angeles and enjoys riding motorcycles, rock climbing, music and playing his guitar. His birth date is August 24.
