Jackie Chan stars in this western/comedy set in the 1880's as Chon Wang, an Imperial Guard who teams up with train robber Roy O'Bannon (Owen Wilson) to save Princess Pei Pei (Lucy Liu).
When Princess Pei Pei is kidnapped and taken from China's Forbidden City to Nevada, the Emperor sends members of the Imperial guard after her, including the inept Chon Wang, who harbors a secret crush on the princess. While on his mission, he becomes entangled with bumbling outlaw Roy O'Bannon and, after ending up in the same jail cell after a bar brawl, the incompetent duo make a pact to find the kidnapped Princess.
