Laurel begins her defense by establishing that her only attitude problems are directed at Azmyth. When Azmyth starts to interrupt, she angrily says "If you could just be quiet the whole time I'm talking, I'd appreciate it, I'm sick of your voice," which elicits laughter from the crew. Laurel then asks her fellow shipmates if they would share the gold as Captain, and when they all say "Yes," she points out that Azmyth isn't alone in sharing. "If you don't share the gold, then you're not gonna last as Captain because no one's gonna be happy," she states.

Kendra steps forward to defend herself, stressing the fact that she's getting stronger with each Expedition. "No matter what, no matter if I'm injured, I will never stop," she assures the crew. "I will keep going."

Jupiter begins her defense by advocating change before reassuring Azmyth that she'll never Mutiny against him. She concludes her defense, when she says, "I feel as though I've put myself out there for you guys to see who I am. But I'm ready to better myself so that I remain on the ship because I love being here."

Cameron gives Azmyth an opportunity to make a case for his Captaincy, which leads Azmyth to compliment his strong Officers, before saying, "We're definitely as fair as we possibly can be. What could we change other than the fact that we're up here? I've set an example and I think it's a fair and just example."

One by one, the Pirates cast their ballots atop the dagger's blade. Cameron examines the ballots, along with the bids for the Royal Pardon. He then announces Kendra as the highest bidder with $4,000, but tells her she didn't receive a single ballot. Laurel learns that she's safe and Cameron announces that the ballot is unanimous, so it's now between Jupiter and the Captain. Cameron turns to Jupiter and lets her know that she received all three ballots. Jupiter's voyage is over, so she is cut adrift.
