Two Sneaky Pirates
Louie and Jay talk about how they hope Kendra is the next Pirate to go, but unbeknownst to them, Kendra eavesdrops on their conversation. "Throughout this entire game, information has been my big commodity," Kendra explains. "I'm sneaky and that's why I'm still here." However, Kendra doesn't like what she hears and when she sees Jay later in the galley, she informs him that she needs some alone time. Confused by her attitude, Jay watches her go. "The thought of keeping Kendra around, ugh, it irks me so bad," he says.
Below deck, Christa tells Jay that she hopes he and Ben are on her crew for the upcoming Expedition. Jay reassures her she'll stay in power either way because he'll make sure the opposite crew will lose if he's on it. "I'm 100 percent committed to making sure that Christa stays in power," Jay explains. "Christa's in power…that means I'm in power."
The Smuggler's Treasure
Cameron calls the Pirates to the quarterdeck where Kendra opens the next compartment of the Chest of Zanzibar and finds corkscrews with clues on them. Cameron informs everyone that this treasure was hidden by a smuggler who would smuggle rum and contraband onto Captain Steel's ship.
"Sounds like a sneaky and dangerous guy," Cameron says right before everyone draws shot to determine which crew they'll join. Jay draws a red shot, which means he'll be competing against the Captain. Once everyone draws, the Red Crew consists of Laurel, Jay and Kendra while the Black Crew includes Ben, Louie, and Christa. Jay joins the Red Crew in their longboat and realizes what he must do to sabotage the Expedition in Christa's favor.
